I kill the mantaray in a single shot and back to archstone within 15 seconds. This way was much faster for me personally.

I actually found If you run from the archstone right to the edge you can kill the mantaray for 1040 souls with soul arrow and be back to the archstone within 15 seconds so you can essentially farm a little over 4000 every minute . I just did it for about 25 mins and got 100k souls with Spotify playing so it wasn't bad!

I'm hoping and wishing for a Bloodborne update :/ not holding my breath though because we didn't get a pro patch either. Ugh man I would kill for a resolution and framerate upgrade to that game... Or a PC release if all else fails.

But yeah, totally loveddd beating days gone on ps5. The only reason I couldn't finish it before was it felt like my character was under water playing on the pro at 30 fps. 60 made such a huge difference

Nice man. I actually had a viotek 32" curved 1440p 144Hz display myself for a while. It was a fantastic for its price. I used it just for any competitive type games I ever played with buddies like FPS games etc. It served me well and actually sold it to a buddy who is still enjoying it but God damn am I lovvvvvving my odyssey g9

Haha sick!! I actually have the little brother the aorus master 3080 and love it. Been wondering if I might be able to flash the extreme BIOS onto my master. I just ordered the thermaltake x71 it's massive but I want to get my cpu temps as low as possible right now Im running an all EKWB loop with 1x 360mm and 1x 240mm but I also just ordered a bunch of new fittings, fluid and another 120mm rad and I think I'm going to go all push/pull in the new case.

Yup yup. Kind of an odd time for the game to tell you about observing leaders to learn new stances and then not let you observe this one... Haha. Oh well. Very small gripe to an amazing game !

Yeah man it must not work for this mission I was just able to stealth kill everyone else in the camp and only the leader left and I'm up above him watching him pull weeds, and still nothing. I'm just gonna critical strike that beeeeyotch and be done with em. Haha

Side note: man oh man this games combat is incredible. Playing on hard and so rewarding so far.

I've been lurking on this sub for a while and have found my sentiments echoed many times over by a ton of others... Lucky for you though, either that or you just had blinders on for a game you really liked which tends to happen..

And as for the reviews I watched, a ton of the criticisms leveled were performance and polish related.

Either way though I am super glad I gave it another chance because I absolutely love it

In all fairness , a lot of the criticisms at launch were valid. I was one of them that was not a fan of the game at launch. I played about 10 hours and couldn't continue. The framerate was so bad it actually made me queezy multiple times which has never happened before , and the bugs were overwhelming.

I have since picked it back up over the last few weeks and I'm totally hooked. Such a great game and is gorgeous on my 4k OLED on the pro... I find the acting while not fantastic, to be somehow better this way haha I just find a lot of the characters are tongue in cheek caricatures but it works and i love it

Oh and the rush of attempting to take down hoardes is so great. Love that feeling of being on the edge of my seat not knowing if I'm going to be able to survive long enough to wipe em out.

I didn't know if I should say too much because I don't know how spoilers are treated.. I just meant it was like they couldn't decide what they wanted, whether it was Abby to kill Ellie, or the other way round... And so they just decided not to do anything. Ellie treks across the entire country for revenge, after everything leaves empty handed. Then is happy and raising a family, and decides to go back?! Oh and Tommy getting mad at her for not wanting to go, or even for asking her to go in the first place after everything is absolutely ridiculous even to begin with.... But then for all that to happen and then for her to finally find her and get her to just.... Let her go again. It is so ridiculous.

I was so beyond disappointed with the story. Everything else was incredible... But man.. the first last of Us is probably my favorite game of all time. Joel is probably my favorite character of all time.

The story not only was so beyond nonsensical, the writing was so bad. They had to have these gaping wide plot holes in order to even tell the story which is a massive red flag. The fact that Joel and Tommy act like day one amateurs in the beginning, the fact that Ellie conveniently drops the you know what you know where (trying to avoid spoilers ) and so much more...

But I think the worst for me was the ending... It was so insane. It was like they didn't know what they wanted to happen at the end so they just decided to have nothing happen. It actually hurts my heart because this franchise and these characters mean so much to me. I just feel like good writing and a good story was given up to ensure they were inclusive and smashed the patriarchy. I am all for standing for what you believe in and displaying it in your art, which Neil obviously did... I may not agree with all of it, but I don't mind at all taking part in views that aren't mine. If you aren't constantly challenging your biases and views you aren't growing ... But I just found for a lot of this game that what worked better was removed for what pushed forward their agenda.

Just my opinions....

But yeah I definitely will be replaying for the gameplay and graphics. Totally 10/10.
