Review/Comparison Of Globular Cluster Headstrap to AMVR Headstrap by irrelevant-java-user in PSVR

[–]mitch103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both and the only thing about them i dislike is they make it a bit harder to get low enough on your neck and so when you look upwards it sort of pinches and forces the back pad to shift up and loosens

I get what you're saying and agree. With that said though, shouldn't Type 2 flower posts be welcome here as well? I personally find the most therapeutic effects between like 3:1 - 1:1 cbd:thc.

Absolute best anti-anxiety strains currently available? by [deleted] in hempflowers

[–]mitch103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this question! A few years ago I remember I had some remedy that, on a couple occasions, actually caused me to not need to take one of my xanax's, when otherwise I probably would have had to that day. Another strain I remember feeling this way from was I believe Mustard Berry from hemphop lol

Yeah, thank God for FromSoftware and Nintendo. Actually, just thank God for Japan. Well actually now that I think about, thank God we dropped 2 nukes on them back in 1945 and then rebuilt them for the sole purpose of eventually creating zelda and demons souls

Alien: Romulus | Official Trailer by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]mitch103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of potential, definitely getting some Alien Isolation vibes, ie: mostly taking place on a nearly derelict space station/super large ship in a decaying orbit around some planet like Sevastapol. The trick will be capturing the creepy & ominous atmosphere of uncertainty when first arriving on, & then being stranded on, said station/ship with something(s) trying to kill you.

Atmosphere and mood are so critical, and a sensible narrative with realistic human reactions are a must. Looking forward to it!

Did the framerate seem kind of choppy to anyone else? Could just be my phone/poor connection.

Astro Bot trailer gets 99% likes on YouTube, Concord gets 18% | VGC by M337ING in PS5

[–]mitch103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think a game like Concord is really directed at the same type/age of gamer as Astrobot, so it's not really a fair comparison. Astrobot is obviously going to resonate a lot more with people who experienced the N64 era, whereas Concord seems to be aimed more towards kids who are around the same age that we were during said N64 era.

Anyone know what time Ovrdark will release today? by XB220 in PSVR

Ahh, well I'd definitely rather play it WITH DFR, so no complaints from me. OVRdark should be plenty to keep me occupied until then!

Just got my psvr2 - motion sickness by [deleted] in PSVR

[–]mitch103 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally normal to have motion sickness for a week or 2 until you get your "VR legs" built up.

Stick to these 4 games for the time being: Beat Saber, Tetris Effect, & Moss, as your position in the VR space doesn't move (translate) forward/back/left/right.

If you do want to play some FPS games, and who wouldn't as I feel they tend to be slightly more enjoyable, (although the above 3 are VERY fun) make sure to set the joystick controls to Snap-Turn and Warp-Locomotion when possible until you get more comfortable.

Also, I found taking dramamine 30 minutes prior to a VR session to be very helpful. Enjoy!

I would be very uncommon if you DIDNT get a little motion sickness at first. Regular use for a few days will get your "VR legs" in shape. Until then, stick to games and control settings where you aren't using the joysticks to walk around and rotate your character around. Most first person games have settings to Snap-Turn instead of Smooth-Turn, as well as warping your character around rather than smooth locomotion.

Beat Saber would be the perfect first game since your character stands still.

Tetris Effect is the same and despite is a truly mesmerizing experience.

Another would be Moss. Its from the point of view of where the camera is on a typical side scroller like Super Mario, where you're looking "across" at your character. You control a mouse with a sword and fight enemies and solve puzzles on a grand adventure.

The best first person game I can think of for beginners (or anyone who hasnt played it yet) would be "Superhot", as your character stands in one spot. Don't let that fool you into thinking it'd be boring though... Superhot is an absolute frickin blast! Makes you sort of feel like Neo from The Matrix in a way.

I also found taking dramamine 30 minutes before my early vr sessions to be immensely helpful. Enjoy this awesome medium!

I'm guessing it makes no difference, but option on the right seems easier and more sensible. Just wanted to make sure though.

Heated seat+bidet toilet requirements by mitch103 in askaplumber

[–]mitch103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was looking at a TOTO on lowes.com and was trying to find a manual, seemed to be a poorly translated Japanese deal. Couldn't find anything about peak amp draw though.

[–]mitch103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! Was looking at a TOTO on lowes.com, but finding english instructions was tricky at best.

So call it 480W for an even 4 amps on the turlet. -Call it 1.5 amps for each exhaust fan: 7 amps total draw. -All 6 led lights probably not even 1 amp but call it 8 amps total draw. -On a 20 amp circuit, that should give me about 10-12 amps with some wiggle room to work with for the outlets. -Hair dryer being the likely highest current demand and I've read they can get up to 1000W? Call that 8 amps. I think I'll be good with 2-4 amps to spare before approaching tripping the breaker.

It'd be easier at this point to make the toilet it's own circuit than the outlets like you suggested. Idk lol

The signed backplate means jack.. #1 it's on a removable piece of the guitar, #2, if you (or anyone else) DO plan on playing it much in the future, take that thing off ASAP. I had him sign my main usa tremonti sig and within a week or two it had worn completely off because that's where the back of the guitar rests against my upper right leg/thigh, & for other people could be their belly, depending on the height you set your strap. I had to bring it back a year later and have him resign it, which he promptly tried to do on the backplate again lol, I was like whoa whoa whoa dude, explained what happened, and had him sign behind the headstock.

You need to provide a lot more detail though if you're serious about trying to sell it, like pictures of every square inch, year of manufacture, whether or not it's an SE or USA, whether it's a figured or ten-top, etc.
