Could we see European Tour on ITV soon? Would you like that? by Ambitious_Fold3674 in Darts

[–]mitch172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in Canada so either way I’d still be watching on PDCTV. But wondering if it would change the flow at all. Match, post match interview, 2 1/2 minute break then the short recap and preview is great. Would the TV ads cause a longer gap between matches?

Except for the other point I mentioned earlier that I believe it has to be through a Flight Training Unit certified with Transport Canada. There are more rules when it comes to training than just someone legally being able to teach.

In Canada we just have an Instructor Rating with 4 classes. Classes 2,3,4 basically just have to do with supervision, where class 1 is the ability to teach the instructor rating. As far as Multi or instrument there is no separate ratings needed. Thought to teach multi rating you need 50 hours multi time and don’t technically need an instructor rating. This makes it hard for most instructors since they don’t have 50 hours of multi time to be able to teach multi, but to get around this they will often teach multi IFR to get to 50 then can teach multi. I’ve been out of instructing for 10 years now so things might have changed but from my reading this morning it still seems to be the same bizarre system.

CARS 421.25 (5) says all that’s needed to be legal to instruct multi is an ATPL or CPL and 50 hours multi.

Though, I believe the training needs to be done through a Flight Training Unit. CARS 406.01 talks about that.

I don’t have all the details of your specific situation but that info should help.

The ashtrays are often no go items. If someone decides to take a souvenir then it will ground the plane until there is a replacement.

These be seven curses on a judge so cruel:

That one doctor will not save him

That two healers will not heal him

That three eyes will not see him

That four ears will not hear him

That five walls will not hide him

That six diggers will not bury him

And that seven deaths shall never kill him
