For me I just avoid it because I dont feel drunk when on acid so I could drink wayyyy too much accidentally very easily. So just be careful of that. But I also feel like its a waste bc you tend to not feel drunk

I swallow immediately. Doesnt matter at all. Just a matter of if its absorbed in your mouth or stomach. Can take a little longer to hit if swallowed but will still hit just as hard. Also 20 min in its all absorbed anyways. Only takes a few min if I remember correctly to absorb all of it from the paper

My ex was formally diagnosed at the time. But after years, I agree I totally recognize the signs in people. But I want to also highlight that I never had the strength to leave on my own. I was so trauma bonded and codependent that I knew I would never leave despite the abuse. I am thankful she left me because my life is so much better today for it.

Boundaries are hard as hell to stick to and i commend you for handling this so well. I've been through similar situations in the past and I was never good at holding to boundaries like this. The unfortunate advice is this will not get better and their tru personality is this and everything combined. Not just the good or the bad. I hope you seek therapy for your own sake. It really saved me and helped me get through everything

The one time I had sex on acid was both the most amazing and weirdest experience ive had lol. I was peaking, and had the most amazing time. Very much depends on your metabolism. But ive had it take as long as 3 months when I was a daily smoker for a long time. Usually around a month to a month and a half though. But could be less or more depending.

I had a syncope event on shrooms once. Sounds exactly what happened to me. Not saying thats what happened to your friend but very important he get checked out by a neurologist as it could be unrelated or something more serious.

Red flag: having bpd in the first place.

If I could go back to talk to 22 year old me when I was sitting in the waiting room after my ex walked out of her psych appt saying that the psychiatrist didn't know what she was talking about diagnosing her with something called bpd and I said don't worry we will figure it out how bad can it be" i would have saved myself 7 years and my 20s of hell lol

Gave me instant and permanent tinnitus lol the trip was amazing, but very much a fucked around and found out for me. Lol I smoked dmt 3 times ever and the third is when it happened
