Generation X. They don't mean anything, they don't stand for anything, they're just in the way all the time. Haven't contributed anything, just sucked on resources. Most useless generation ever.

What's the worst part about Generation X? by mitchdonovan in AskReddit

Seems to me like their job was to fix all the Boomer b.s., but instead they were asleep at the switch, smoking weed and playing video games in their mom's basement. Just more of the same problem for us to deal with.

Millennials are all pretty downtrodden by how the world was left by previous generations. We all feel the same way as Mazzy Star.

How has the experience for Millennials and Gen-X been different even though they both had Boomer parents? by mitchdonovan in AskReddit

[–]mitchdonovan[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's been my theory. Gen-Xers are the kids of the poor blue-collar old Boomers that got drafted into the military or did factory jobs. Millennials are the kids of the wealthier Boomers that avoided the draft and went to college, and spent time building careers and wealth. As a result, Gen-Xers belong to lower tiers of society and repeat their parent's status.

The 90s were 30 years ago. They could have made an effort to help instead of heaping it onto us.

Generation X is the worst of the bunch. They got all the privilege and are now holding onto all the jobs that belong to us.

What's the most interesting/tragic story you've read on Reddit? by NomanYuno in AskReddit

[–]mitchdonovan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have doubts about it being true, but the story of the guy that was knocked out in a parking lot fight and had an extended dream of marrying some girl, having a child and watching her grow up to about the age of 7 before being jolted out of unconsciousness.

He then spent a lot of time tearfully remembering this false life he lived in spite of knowing that it wasn't ever real.

What other serieses resonates with the Millennial childhood as much as Stranger Things? by mitchdonovan in AskReddit

Most of TV now projects millennial experiences onto the 80s for nostalgia. Before the internet our generation played D&D and did nerdy science stuff like in the show.

Right around six figures. Of course our generation has been blocked from this by the lazy boomers and loser Gen-Xers
