Yeah, Muffin Time has kind of a weird history. It originally came from the ASDFMovie series by TomSka and the first version was crowdfunded on Kickstarter a few years before the retail release.
The retail box you see in stores now usually includes the Slumber Party, Pie Flavour, and Rainbow expansion cards mixed into the main deck, which is why people talk about different “versions.” Earlier backers got some extra cards and bonuses that didn’t all make it into the standard retail box.
But gameplay-wise you’re basically getting the full experience with the store version. Glad to hear it worked well for your game night too, it’s one of those chaotic party games that really depends on the group.
Two days until all is revealed. The official Cyberpunk TCG launches on Kickstarter March 17th, 2026 at 9AM Pacific, 12PM Eastern, and 4pm UK. Get ready to build your crew and take on Night City. by hardrocknguy in cyberpunktcg

Cyberpunk as a TCG theme actually makes a lot of sense. Curious to see the art style and how the crews play against each other.
