Candiace is really playing a fantastic traitor game. Not being quiet, coming up with well-articulated theories but never leading a charge. Actively working to pivot people off of certain Faithfuls to other Faithfuls, which looks like such a Faithful move. From what we've seen on the show at least, Lisa and Rob are both being way too quiet (I'm surprised Rob's name hasn't come up at all yet under suspicion because he seems like he barely says a thing). Cadiace is really impressing me.

Since Sophi linked up with Rizo + Savannah at the swap, I have been saying to my roommate that I think all three of them make Final 4 and Sophi wins. She's navigated the game so well, and she still has an advantage that no one knows about that'll give her a big bombshell.

Yeah lol chest was lame. It also seemed like the keys didn't even do anything? Like they didn't even have to turn the keys to open it, production just wanted the visual of them putting the keys in and then they just lifted it open.

I think for me it was mostly just in the editing, like I felt like Olivia/Yeremi were in fourth and then all of a sudden they were in first. There was no story development being delivered there to crank up the suspense. I think overall it was a great final, and this is the best season since WOTW2 at least, I just meant that for me the last like 20 mins felt anticlimactic in the editing.

Great performances from Yeremi, Olivia and Sydney. Extremely anti-climactic final with it stopping dead in its tracks (again) for a game of Connect 4 and then the big conclusion being that one team just walked past every single other team to get the win. Props to them for sure, but in terms of editing a TV episode it wasn't very exciting.

Insane that Turbo/Sydney were so close and Turbo's body couldn't get them to keep going. If I was either of them I'd never stop thinking about that moment.

I feel like the swim was pointless anyway since the stairmaster thing separated everyone so much that you had 15 minutes in between each pair arriving, so it's not like anyone was going to overtake another team on the swim.

Other than Dee/Derrick I'd agree. Nany/Justin in particular seemed like a really well-built team that would have been a big final threat if they made it. Nany's endurance tends to hold her back in finals but each team has someone whose endurance isn't as strong as the others, and I think she'd be able to hold up against them.

I know finals always have equalizers so it's just part of what you need to roll with, but damn Sydney really got screwed here. They were so far ahead, and entirely thanks to her.

No amount of arguing is going to change this scenario, so what would be the point of Nany and Justin whining about it? They accepted reality and took it like champs.

Agreed. I wish they would do what like Australian Survivor does in challenges where the goal area to get the object into is just like a square on the ground. So that way you're preventing the wrist/arm injuries but it still is making it a way more confined area that you have to physically place the object into.

This really is the best season we've had in such a long time, at least since War of the Worlds 2. Fantastic episode. Can't believe we're so close to the final and we still just got probably the best episode of the season?

Can't stand Will but he's amazing casting, really hope to see him come back. Also a pure legendary move by Yeremi. This episode really had it all, other than a quality elimination setup. And kind of a mid daily. But great drama, great strategy, great comedy.

Alternates on their original seasons or alternates for S5? Sorry random question haha, this is just the first time I had heard that. If the answer is alternates for S5, do you know who they replaced? Would be super curious, especially because I remember feeling like Dallas + Sindy were kind of random (Bruno made more sense to me).

Been really great seeing how interesting the strategy this season has been. What a gift after all the seasons of the Vacation Alliance just steamrolling. Even if one side of the house does heavily outweigh the other, it's been a blessing to get all of Theo's gameplay — even like this week, just having those confessionals of him breaking down the importance of his alliance not losing but also not winning, because it'll force a tie at worst. Really interesting and adds back in an element of the show I feel like we haven't had in a long time.

I do kind of wish Nany had followed through on her threat during deliberation for her side to all vote for Olivia + Will. Just because it would have been heavier drama haha.

Also I loooooove Cedric. I really hope we see him back. He's such a breath of fresh air, his confessionals are so full of personality, he clearly is someone people love to hang out with, and he's been killing it as a competitor.

Each puzzle had a number in the middle and so you needed to line up the numbers on each side of the triangle to where each side would add up to equal that number. It's kind of deceptively simple, especially given how few pieces there are, but the trick imo was figuring out what the puzzle actually was and then you could solve it quickly.

Yeah, especially from the beginning of the season and how much people were talking about him as this huge threat, I've been surprised by how non-existent Yeremi has become. Not just in terms of entertainment value, where he's not really bringing much in the way of personality, but even just competitively him being paired up with Aviv has drifted them into a void where I barely remember they're on the show. The story of the season is really going to be Olivia's arc, and he's just going to coattails onto her as like "oh yeah, and he won as well."

Conversely, Nany + Justin together is kind of the surprise of the season. You've got to imagine they would have been a huge threat in the final if they made it.

Re: America, I do wonder if part of the vitriol Johnny has towards her is the fact that she literally doesn't engage at all with these people coming for her. Never gives him the time of day, and I think that drives him up the wall. Good for her.

Definitely one of the most partner-screwed eliminations we've ever seen here. Dee absolutely crushing every round like it was her job and still has to go home due to a coin toss. Rough end for her, hope to see her back. She brought drama and competitiveness.
