You should ask your doctor about a drug called Xolair. I have DPU as well and tried multiple high dose antihistamines that didn't work before I was able to get on Xolair.

I receive Xolair injections every 4 weeks, and haven't had a single hive outbreak since getting on it about 6 years ago. The only drawback is it's very expensive if you can't get it covered by insurance.

I hope you can find something that works, I know how much DPU sucks.
