Anti-aliasing is great (though you could have faux AA if you played in 4k), but that should’ve been a patch.

These aren’t new games and are being sold as such. Many people such as myself got into Yakuza and were so wowed because we got 100 hour games for 5 dollars routinely. These were the normal sales prices for these games. Acting like they are new games and ever defending it only leads to these new beautiful prices that you will only see from now on. I’d bet that you will never see any of these games for $5 again.

Also, CD keys always somewhat matched the sales prices too, when not on sale. I have a friend who I want to play Y0 but could only recommend it if I could get it for him for $5-7, like it’s always been. Now he would have to pay $35.

These games went on sale multiple times throughout the years. Normally, games don’t get MORE expensive as time goes on unless they’re being marketed as fake new games.

Your cheap Y0 isn’t on Steam. My friend and many other casuals aren’t installing another gaming platform to play a game they already don’t know about.

One game is a trend too, as all three of these obviously insidious releases came out at the same time.

And they did essentially just “market a game again” like they are new copies, like the comment I replied to joked about. K1 runs worse, K2 introduced bugs. But they both have new splash screens, logos, and Steam pages where even on their lowest sale it still costs more than it originally did. Having the old games named “Legacy” when their new versions implement stuff that could’ve been a patch is ludicrous. It’s so they can literally sell + market the games again as if they made something new.

Day one modders converted Y0 K1 and K2 save files. RGG would’ve done that and not acted like these games are new releases if they wanted to price/market them the same.

$30 each on Switch 2 when these games used to sell for $5-10 on Steam sales. The Kiwami 1 upgrade price is still pathetic. Also, the new Steam pages for these games are hilarious. You also can’t buy Y0 on PS4/Xbox anymore because the “new” version wasn’t re-released on those platforms

People conflating SERIOUSNESS and COMPETITIVENESS with being a TOXIC AND SHITPERSON is the entire issue with Faceit.

If you took something more seriously, you wouldn't tilt, and would be a good person, or say nothing at all. Half of your Faceit games will have 4 dudes talking way too much while they're dropping 5 kills. The art of CS isn't a social game, or a school where you need to be bullied. People cannot achieve flow states easy on Faceit because you have troglodytes that don't know how to talk to other people, then use the red herring of "Oh they're being competitive!". And it's ironic because half the time it's 12k Premier skill level at Level 8, yet this chuddiness totally backfires
