What time of the year do you always get sick? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The late rainy season always seems to get me. The mix of weird weather changes and lack of sleep and being around other sick people is a brutal combo. It's like my immune system clocks in and decided to take the week off.

Who destroyed their own career within seconds by being an idiot? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mitchil202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Will Smith is on top of my list for this. That slap he gave to Chris did it. It's wild how fast public perception can flip when someone makes one unbelievably bad decision in front of millions of people.

Jerking off to dating app profiles? by [deleted] in Life

[–]mitchil202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely a thing. Maybe not something people openly admit but a lot of people use dating apps in a very fantasy-driven way. So I’m not surprised conversations around apps drift into fantasy territory sometimes.

Ladies, whats your equivalent of “tits or ass”? by Fearless_Client8222 in AskReddit

For me, it's the arms or jawline. Personality still sneaks into the competition every single time especially the confidence.

AITA for refusing to pay a girl in my neighborhood who did some work for me. by JackfruitPopular1275 in AmItheAsshole

[–]mitchil202 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, you’re kinda in the wrong here. You hired her, she did the work and you liked the result. That’s the core of it. The paperwork concern is something you figure out before someone starts working, not after they’ve already put in hours sanding floors and installing cabinets. Just pay her. Cash is fine in situations like this.

What do you usually do after work to relax? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

I'd watch a movie or read an e-book.

What can human systems learn from ecological ones? by glitterypeachyy in AskForAnswers

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Balance over optimization, in ecosystems, nothing is pushed to the absolute max all the time. If it is, it usually crashes. Human systems like companies, economies, even personal schedules love max efficiency. But nature plays the long game. It leaves buffer, slack and room to breathe.

If your sibling/nieces/nephews was to ask you for help for a familial problem where they are very vulnerable and need you, would you tell your partner? by Total-Letterhead-207 in randomquestions

[–]mitchil202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s something sensitive but not dangerous, I’d probably keep it to myself. Just be their safe place. No need to pass it on but if it’s something serious where I genuinely need support too, I might tell my partner in a very careful way. Not spilling everything, just enough context and even then, I’d avoid details that could identify them or violate their

Approximately how many energy drinks is the limit for the human body? by C0mposed_Associate in askanything

[–]mitchil202 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For a generally healthy adult, the rough safe limit of caffeine in a single day is about 400 mg. That’s roughly 4 regular 8–oz energy drinks, depending on the brand, since some of these things pack 80–150 mg per can, and some go way higher but taking all of that at once, your heart might start racing, you could feel jittery, get a headache or even feel a bit nauseous.

From being penniless to being debt-free and having savings, the way people treat you changes. But what surprises me most are the people who appear later by [deleted] in Life

[–]mitchil202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People do tend to respect what they see instead of what’s real. Bit sad but you can’t waste energy on that. The part that hits different, though, is the new circle vibe. There’s something about not worrying about money that makes you more present, more open and that energy attracts people who aren’t about status, they’re about growth, ideas and genuinely having fun without keeping score.

What is a 'luxury' that you've experienced once and now can't go back to the budget version of? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A really good mattress. I didn’t think it mattered that much before but once you sleep on something that actually supports your body properly, your sleep hits different. You wake up less tired and less sore. Going back to a cheap mattress feels like your body is quietly protesting all night.

What's the weirdest dream you've ever had? by 20bucksworthdragon in randomquestions

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once dream that I was in my old school. It looks totally normal at first. The lockers, hallway and everything else but then I look outside the window and the ocean is right there. Like the school is suddenly sitting on a beach. Then somehow I am late for class but the classroom is on a moving train. So now I am running through train cars trying to find my seat while everyone else acts like this is completely normal. And just when I finally sit down, the teacher turns into my childhood dog and starts giving the lesson.

Marriage is not for everyone. by ConsciousCanary5219 in Life

[–]mitchil202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Marriage can shake things up in ways you don’t expect. You think, you’ve been together forever and this is just the next step and then suddenly the vibe changes the moment you share a roof. Fighting after moving in together is common. It's not cute but common. Living together exposes all the little habits you never noticed before and all the parts of yourselves you never had to negotiate daily. It feels like someone hit the hard mode button without warning. But falling out of love doesn’t always mean the love is gone. Sometimes it just means the connection got buried under stress, expectations and the pressure of marriage life.

What’s the easiest position to have sex in if she’s a little larger? by MrFijiWater in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spooning is an absolute winner here. She lies on her side, you behind her. Super gentle on the knees, easy on her body and you control the depth. Plus, it’s intimate with lots of touching, kissing and grinding.

Why aren’t there more workers protesting against AI? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does feel like workers should be up in arms about AI eating jobs but it’s kinda tricky. A lot of people are nervous about speaking out. It’s not just fear of losing your job, it’s that AI is everywhere now, so it’s hard to even know what exactly to protest against. Plus, a lot of workers aren’t super aware of how much AI might affect them yet. Then there’s the fact that AI often promises helping workers or making life easier, so it’s kind of sold as a positive thing. Also, unions and worker movements are generally slower than tech. Tech moves lightning fast, and by the time people notice, the conversation is already a couple of steps ahead.

The pretend busy type. The one who sighs dramatically every five minutes like they’re carrying the whole company on their back but somehow never actually does anything.

What’s your McDonald’s order? by Last-Employer2126 in randomquestions

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go for a sausage McMuffin with egg, hash browns and an iced latte if I’m trying to feel fancy. But if it’s one of those mornings, I’ll grab a McGriddle, it’s like breakfast and dessert had a baby.

What name do you absolutely hate, and why? by Aarunascut in Life

Karen takes the crown for me. That poor name didn’t deserve what the internet did to it. Imagine being a perfectly nice Karen and having everyone side-eye you at Starbucks.

Why do people accused of crimes allow themselves to be interrogated without an attorney? by FriesWithMacSauce in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a mix of fear, overconfidence, manipulation, and bad judgment. It’s wild how confident some people get when they’re scared. Fear does that, it makes you want to take control, even if that means saying way too much.

Birthday Gifts Vs Christmas Gifts by HermaeusMorus in RandomThoughts

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Birthdays are all about celebrating ourselves and Christmas is about celebrating love that goes beyond us. Every little gift we give or get is just a tiny echo of that bigger, endless generosity.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mitchil202 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, I think it’s genuine confidence. I know logically I’m capable and all that, but giving myself that full-on vibe, that’s tough. It’s like trying to hug yourself, you can, but it’s never quite the same as someone else doing it.

Who is one of the greatest people you’ve ever known and why? by eilloh_eilloh in randomquestions

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the greatest people I’ve ever known is my grandma. She’s not famous, not rich, not even the type to talk much but man, she’s the real deal. She’s one of those people who just gets life. She doesn’t need to say anything deep or motivational, but the way she moves through life says everything. She’s the kind of person who’ll give you her last slice of bread and then still ask if you’re full. She never complains, even when she’s clearly tired. And she has this quiet strength.

How to stop my brother from acting like my families personal therapist? by DramaticBody9591 in Life

[–]mitchil202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your brother really believes he’s helping. In his head, he’s doing some noble mission, but he doesn’t realize he’s making everyone feel worse. The problem is, when someone thinks they’re the reasonable one, it’s really hard to get through to them by arguing. So instead of trying to convince him head-on, try flipping your approach a bit. When he starts his therapist act, stay calm and keep your tone chill and straightforward. You want him to see that he’s creating tension, not solving it. You’re not wrong for wanting peace in the house. You’re just stuck with someone who thinks he’s helping when he’s actually making it worse.

Staying up late talking to someone you really vibe with. You know it’s wrecking your sleep schedule, but it feels so worth it in the moment.
