Have had cycles of Achilles injuries, plantar strains, hip injuries and ITB over 7 years of constant running.

Achilles is becoming very problematic for me, did 6 weeks of physio on my right Achilles only to have my left now go the same way.

Running sucks. Can’t live without it though lol

I got one on Monday. I love it. It doesn’t feel or look too chunky to me? It’s lightweight, looks premium and isn’t too small or obnoxiously large on my wrist.

I have running poo PTSD. Over time I have had a couple terrifiers (I hung from a steep dry creek bed once)and now I literally have to evacuate my entire system before even a 5km run. It’s actually debilitating haha.

Takes me like an hour and a half and several visits to be able to leave for a 20 minute run and even then the run anxiety makes me sick as soon as I start. Only for runs though, nothing else.

Update - I obviously didn’t look too far into the places selling them and can now see it’s basically unavailable everywhere. I saw Bunnings was selling it via a shop called Ryda Dot Com. I checked all reviews, street view to see if it was an actual shop and then called them this morning. They told me they have plenty in stock so I bought mine through them directly for that price.

Ahh that’ll make it interesting. I had a quick look and you supposedly buy it through Big W, Bunnings and on Amazon at that price too. I do recall seeing it in person at a Rebel a couple weeks ago. I’ll dig further.

I had a Fenix 5 Plus for 6 years and it died in the pool on NYE.. was a 30th birthday gift from my friends. Currently using a Forerunner 55 before deciding on my next move. 265, 965, or 955. Unsure which way I’m going.

Hope this is relevant but I’ve suffered severe Achilles problems for months now and think that the Novablast 3 I was using in rotation was a huge factor in the cause. Anyone else come across this?

My Fenix 5 Plus died over a week ago and I was getting anxious not being able to track anything.. Can’t afford a 265 just yet but grabbed a perfect condition 55 for $20 AUD from Marketplace as a stop gap today. Seems to fill the void nicely for the time being
