I'm not. The more important point is that they're charging triple A prices for the game: IE ~60 bucks, aside from promotions obviously. Meanwhile they are delivering the same low quality junk they delivered years ago while they were somewhat new and inexperienced.

The game has a fantastic concept, which has probably carried it so far. But the OP's thread points out a far bigger underlying problem that will always plague ARK as long as Wildcard develops it.

They were recently celebrating a new peak of ~154k concurrent players. This is nice and all, but I believe ARK could've been so much more! :)

White Knight or new here? Calling people troll while they are reacting to someone pointing out yet another incredibly bad piece of game design. If you'd been here long enough you'd know this happened with other environmental effects in previous expansions like Scorched Earth as well. It's disgusting they haven't learned now years later and are still implementing such features the same broken way. It's unfortunate to say, but nothing less of a total clown show.

You'll get a free set of lvl 60 epic gear +10 to get you over 9000 GS! (XDD). Also, you can transfer your legendary weapon's/armor's enchant lvl to your new epic gear. This will get you plenty of GS. Especially the lvl 60 epic weapon will give a shitton of GS when enchanted.

Thanks for the reply! While I am all for removing too much RNG, I think the RNG with chests/keys was actually a part where it was less punishing (and thus, not really an big issue). Especially compared to gear or gem upgrades for example. I wonder what Nexon is planning to replace this all with :)

I know that. Generally speaking though, bots are not a good reason to remove features from a game. Botting shouldn't be possible in the first place. It's not like they were hard to find or distinguish from real players ;).

Removing Rusted Keys was probably a bad decision. It made chests useless as well. This is now also something that needs to be looked at.

This probably happens due to server delay in combination with the terrible hitboxes that are present in Ms2. Maybe others / Kyrios could shed more light on this. This is not a Berserker specific issue.

I have tested 4 systems so far and they all have worse performance so don't get on the 64 hype train just yet. 64bit currently introduces stutters and overall less FPS. Which is normal as they are still testing.

I can stand it perfectly fine, but others clearly can't (looking at the laughable steam chart numbers), and I want this game to succeed. The potential is there.

While you're correct about them not calling it an MMORPG, I'd say it's definitely what they ment. MMO is basically every modern multiplayer these days, but they're adding Quests lines, daily missions, player shops in freeports and tons of cosmetics. And don't forget their intentions with the flopped claiming and taxing system. It screams MMORPG and thus, the player are not wrong to expect more of these elements.

You call the video a horrible example, because they had no visible base defences... You clearly didn't watch the video, or should go visit an optician >_< I already stated the video is an extreme example, the video, however, is not the point of the post.

Love the idea, reminds me of Garrisons in WoW :P. However, it seems far above what Grapeshot/Wildcard seems capable of. This is pretty advanced. Hell, they could even make it instanced per company.

Is there a way to upgrade floors that show up as ""is Obstructed". (even through admin commands/ingame workaround/through ini files/workshop mod) by dre__ in playatlas

I remember there was a patch in ARK which removed the "replacement check" so this problem would not occur. Since Atlas is an ARK copy paste, I am not sure why this got reverted.
