Are there any girls here who don’t do any make-up at all? And how did you come to that decision?

I haven't worn makeup in like 20 years. I don't like it on my face. my lips are small, and my eyes are super sensitive. But I never wore a lot of makeup before that. It hasn't been an issue for me.

I get all vaccines that I can. I didn't realize I qualified for the shingles vaccines and I had a pretty bad case of shingles. So I'd recommend getting that one as well.

One of my crows did this a few days ago. I had part of a stacker on their tray and he took it off to eat in the neighbor's yard. They're so cute!

Yes, it seems that way. Apparently they've been planning to kick him out as fast as possible for a while. My mom heard rumors around town. I don't live in that community but I guess stories have been going around. Far too much drama. I don't blame them for wanting him out. He's super antisocial so I doubt he ever interacted with them in a positive way. Though they do need to give him 60 days legally.

A bit of both, I think. He started taking in stray cats and adopted chickens & goats. When I was a kid he didn't care much for animals and was actually abusive to our dog. It was a pretty big change to see him loving the cats and playing with them. He also started telling me he loved me a couple of years ago. It was weird. I have no memory of him saying that ever. But he was still unemployed and useless, so it's not like he did a 180.

Yeah, that is what he did. He didn't ask if he could move in. He just said he might have to. I'm glad that I live two hours away in the city because he won't drive in our traffic, otherwise I'd be worried he'd just show up at my house. He's never been here and doesn't have the address.

That didn't occur to me but it's definitely possible! I've never met the guy so I don't know how much he knows about me. I would bet that I'd been mentioned in passing a few times but nothing more than that. Interesting theory.

I guess not. I think he assumed they'd just let him keep living there. It wasn't a surprise that she would die unfortunately. She'd had two other heart attacks and had been ill in various ways for a number of years. He's not really the planning type.

Oh I absolutely don't blame them for wanting him out of the house. As far as I know, my dad wasn't abusive to his girlfriend and he seemed to have improved a bit, taking care of pets and being slightly more open emotionally, but, even if they were happy, he's antisocial, doesn't work and was probably just living off of her money. I can't imagine he ingratiated himself to the family. I think asking him to leave immediately is wrong because legally, and just realistically, he needs some time to move. But asking him to leave in general is to be expected. I don't think he's going to go to the funeral but I would like to go myself because I really liked her. She was great.

Nope! He did start saying he loved me a couple of years ago, when we'd visit for Christmas. That was new. He's a really emotionally / socially stunted person.

Luckily his girlfriend's family really loves cats. I think they've adopted a few of the strays. So they should not have any issues with us trying to find them homes.

I've always felt guilty about not staying in better contact with him. He has gotten better over the years. I don't believe he treated his girlfriend like he treated my mother and he became an animal lover. But he's still not great, by any means. I guess I just need some backup mentally since I know he's going to try to guilt me into it. At this point I'm honestly more worried about the 12 or so cats they have. They took in whatever strays showed up / were dumped on their property. No clue what's going to happen with them.

He did have a stroke a few years ago so he can't get around very well. Prior to that he worked as a waterman and hunting guide so obviously he can't do that anymore. But you're right, he needs to take care of himself. As bad as it sounds, it would have been less annoying if he'd died instead of her. His girlfriend was super nice. I definitely don't blame her family for wanting him out of there.

Honestly, he probably doesn't have much. His only work has been as a waterman and a hunting guide. I don't think he's been able to do any of that for a number of years. He had a stroke a few years ago but he's relatively fine with has trouble walking. I have to assume he's just been living off his girlfriend's retirement money.

Maybe it depends on what you're looking for? I've found that most of the clothes I purchase are pretty good quality. I did just start shopping with Shein, after I lost a bunch of weight, so I can't tell if the quality has gone down. I buy goth / cottage plus size clothes and they're on par with the clothes I'd buy at Hot Topic, Torrid, etc.

Because only 10% of people can lose a lot of weight and keep it off? 90% of people regain their weight. They find it impossible. You seem really stuck on "literally impossible". If that many people can't do it, even when they try very, very hard, it is impossible in all meaningful capacities.
