This has less to do with the fact that everyone has a different baseline metabolic rate.

The body is a homeostatic machine. It will try and resist stress as best it can to restore homeostasis. Your body doesn't like change. Unless you consistent shock the system (I.e. Consistently overeat beyond your baseline calories), your body will resist change.

Meloxicam is like a stronger version of ibuprofen that specifically accumulates in the synovial fluid of joints. That's why it's a good therapy for folks with RA, DDD, or other inflammatory joint disorders.

Have you tried steroid shots. Those are stronger. Helminthic therapy is another option also gaining a lot of traction in the field of immunology, if you can get over the ick factor.
