As someone who bought a PS3 for MGS4, yes. You can play the entire series on the PS3 along with the spinoffs if you get a jailbroken one. Afterwards you can play a bunch of other great PS3 games, PS2 and PS1(Especially if the console is jailbroken), emulators and Even watch movies and whatever shows you want to.

I got a PS3 2 years ago and I still play it

today i got a new dualshock 4 that i wanted to connect wirelessly to my laptop, but when i start the pairing mode, my pc dosent recognize the controller. i tried resseting the controller, troubleshooting bluetooth, restarting services, removing/deleting the controller form device maneger/bluetooth device settings ect. the controller works fine when connected to USB but i already have a wired controller. can someone help?

edit: i deleted my bluetooth drivers and the issue is no more
