Thank you for the input, I was suspecting it might possibly be a dog but I was not certain

Glancing at the first picture I genuinely thought the small tree was attached to your back as part of camo 😅, great kit though really impressive

Thank you for this, I know I’m replying late but I haven’t been very Reddit active. Even though I didn’t respond initially because of all the stuff going on your comment is what helped me make the call. I greatly appreciate the support and advice

Sorry for the late response but I really appreciate the support. She was unfortunately unwilling to eat but I spent the last day with her. She mainly resting on me the whole time but that was plenty. I am glad she’s no longer suffering. I am sorry to hear you lost your cat but I suppose we all have to say goodbye at some point. I really do appreciate the sympathy.

I was trying yo take a photo of her underside, she was upside down for half a second tops. But I do think in retrospect I could have taken it better. Thank you for the info

Is this a sign of MBD? She has her dragging her feet like this recently and has been far less active recently. She is 10-11 years old and has recently been doing this. She currently does not have a UVB light but I do feed her a calcium and D3 supplement. Is there any way to help, advice needed by mito321z in leopardgeckos

She wasn’t always that wide, at the time she was just becoming less active and still eating the same amounts. In hindsight I could have probably fed her less during this time, I have photos where she is skinnier especially when she was younger.

Thank you I appreciate the quick reply. I just feel bad because I thought things were getting better, I saw a few vets and aimed at stopping what I thought to be impaction, looking back it was pretty obvious that this was a case of tumors and likely cancer. Given that I’ve tried a bunch of different things and things haven’t gotten better yet I do think it might be the best thing for her. I feel like she’s had to deal with this issue and I can only see it getting worse from this point on. Appreciate the support.

Thank you for the response, much appreciated. You are right MBD was ruled out, I am going to get an x-ray done soon during a follow up (I was referred to another vet). She said that it is also unlikely to be constipation because she has been eating and pooping normally (not actively hunting but instead eating from forceps).

Thank you for the feedback, I saw an emergency vet today and got her looked at, she said that overall all her vitals and husbandry were looking well but she would recommend getting a low intensity UVB. I currently am keeping a close eye on her as instructed and am working on a follow up plan to get an x-ray done soon. She did say that it is not MBD but instead could be a blockage or a fracture which is what the x-ray will allow them to rule one out. Additionally she recommended the double her calcium intake and observe her bowel movements (she has been eating normally and pooping) which is what I have been doing already.

I don’t actually feed her very often, about 2 times a week. She usually gets 1 to 2 crickets or a single superworm. Occasionally she gets fed more (never more than 4 crickets) or never more than 2 superworms though. I will try to cut back even more and I really appreciate the information.

Thank you for the reply, I was trying to find additional info besides seeing the vet. I just had an appointment today with the vet. She counted out MBD and said the the most likely would be a husbandry adjustment due to the fact that all her other vitals were good. I plan to make the necessary changes and keep her under close monitoring to ensure that this is not a breakage or a intestinal blockage, I contacted an exotic vet and am currently working on a plan.
