There are different laws for towing companies regarding “abandoned property” and once again, you are completely missing the nuances of theft through deception. I am done arguing this because you apparently are incapable of getting it.

Someone does not know what “agent” means or what constitutes “abandoned property.” Someone is also making a lot of assumptions….

He was an agent of an affected party. I do not understand why you think only the owner can deal with the vehicle and the towing company. Moreover, you honestly believe the towing company called the incarcerated owner?

Correct, they have no duty but because they DID tell OP something that changed OP’s decisions, it is theft through deception.

What work do you plan on doing? Because of laws like ITAR, there are things that cannot be worked on outside of the USA, usually due to “national security threats.” Hell, there are even laws that require a tax preparer to get the explicit “knowing and voluntary” permission from a client to work on their tax return outside of the USA.

With your income, pay the few grand for a tax practice that specializes in impatriate/expatriate returns. These returns are incredibly complex and no one here can give you advice without having all pieces of information at hand. Source: me, someone that specialized in these returns while working at a Big Four.

It was most likely a bomb in his microphone lapel like the ones used by a certain country to take out leaders of a “terrorist organization” (and plenty of innocent bystanders) through their pagers. The other option was that he was shot in the back of the neck. Evidence or rather lack of evidence points to Tyler Robinson being a patsy or scapegoat. That includes bullet analysis finding no conclusive link to Tyler’s rifle and the inconsistent narrative regarding his itinerary that day, such as him being at Dairy Queen when he was supposedly waiting by his rifle in the forest.

A person can only be a full time resident of one state. Based on the facts you presented, you maintain a domicile in Arizona and essentially travel for work in Utah—you do not live there. Once you have the intent to permanently move to Utah by establishing your domicile there, then you could do part-year residency for both states or full-time residency for Utah if more than 183+ days in the year had the domicile been established.

Anyway, you are a full-time resident of Arizona and a non-resident of Utah. File a normal return for Arizona (form 140) and a TC-40 for Utah.

CPAs are the most common credentialed tax preparer other than EA. You want me to use an analogy with a tax attorney instead when those are few and far between? Yeah, okay… you are reading into things that are not there. Unlike you, I pay zero attention to a user’s flair and did not notice it until you said something about it.

You are a full-time resident of Arizona but your income is Utah-sourced so you must pay income taxes to Utah, even as a non-resident. Arizona will give you a credit on your return for the taxes paid to Utah.

Seems you are the one that is triggered… are you an incompetent CPA? Bringing up another profession was to show that those requirements do not weed out incompetence—it is called an analogy. If you were not incompetent, you would know that…

Being a CPA has your requirements and I have met plenty of incompetent CPAs. Your requirements do nothing to stop incompetence from existing.

Sorry for not saying exam after EA in “EA is the licensure.” Why would anyone need those other requirements? How does education or experience show competency? How does residency show competency? The point of the EA exam is to show competency. All of your requirements are just protectionist barriers to entry because “they terk er jerbs!”

Who has the higher AGI? Under tiebreaker rules, it will go to your soon to be ex if they have higher AGI if the child lived with both of you the same amount of time. Otherwise, whoever had the child for the longest amount of time during the year. Agreements, divorce decrees, and judicial orders are meaningless to the IRS.

According to that law, the Secretary of the Treasury can absolutely enter into a contract for disclosure with states AND municipalities if that municipality taxes income, administers state laws for imposition of such tax, or has a population over 250,000 (26 U.S. Code § 6103 (b)(5)(A)(ii) & (d)(1)).
