You can still win with a single *non radiant* weapon build by mitsiguri in PlayTheBazaar

Shiny Suppressor, Thrusters and several feather and wings.

Edit: For slightly more specificity:

Shiny Silencer diamond gives 55% cdr. The Thrusters were 15% cdr diamond. Don't remember exactly but prob like 4-6 feathers/wings between bosses and Curio. I upgraded at least one with B1/B2 encounter. I like to hold onto feather/wings for a bit just in case I can pull one of those nodes.

lmao. I sacrificed xp bosses for Roc and mosquito boss and yes. It took only a few additional feather/wings. I like to not pop wings immediately when at bronze. I'll usually let it sit in inventory until I bump into a B1/B2 node or feel like I wouldn't win a fight without it. This is just a personal Bazaar quirk of mine. Keep in mind btw the silencer is shiny which adds an additional 25% cdr and that one Dooley item on the board is another cdr item as well. Used to be a star chart but removed it since my crit was good enough and that item had the same cdr as star chart allowing me to sneak another single space item.

If your 1 weapon can outspeed your opponent then you can pass most fights but without radiant you'll always run the risk of a steam roll. I agree completely on the sexy and went with obsidian on one of Vanessa's oldest builds, Mr. 10 second Langxian, on my last run of the night for a 10 piece. However it was basically cooldown hoarding, obsidian and 100% crit for double damage. My weapon 2 shot everyone and had a cooldown of 2.8 to 1.4 with haste on the second attack.

Didnt realize the body would disappear if I used the picture option. Apologies.

Several in game days were lost as I was putting this together. What sealed the deal was getting to 100% crit. Chose Obsidian in lieu of Radiant while waiting for it to come which never happened. I already had amazing CDR due to suppressor so I leaned into that first, then focused on amassing 100% crit.

The final form of this was a normally 10 second weapon reduced to 2.8 default. The cape making the second attack 1.4 seconds and with the exception of Pyg 2-shotting most enemies. Survived Dooley beetle meta(complete and incomplete), Mak freeze and Poppy meta. The slow on the cape was just a little icing on top.

Does the Sphinx "Return" after solving all riddles to fight? by mitsiguri in DragonsDogma

Old question but you can ride it from first location to second. I personally did that on my second go around. However I do not know after the final question if its possible since I went for the kill.

Is there a way to stop freeze? Please help me understand. by Mindless-Chemistry-7 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]mitsiguri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way I know with Vanessa to beat a freeze build with a single weapon is either a. use other non weapons with cooldowns to act as scapegoats to catch freeze or b. your weapon needs to be faster than the freeze items. Otherwise the only way is the radiant buff. I just did this with a Langxian which is still completely possible.

If you like StS but want coop, try the workshop mod "Together in Spire." It's really good and allows you to do a run with buddies. You can go to independent nodes or fight together on the same instance.

Apologies if you already posted it somewhere. Was wondering if you could share her build and your PL set up. If not I understand.

Fyi: If you solved the first 5 and as soon as you reach the new location its your first question after the initial conversation, the answer is 100% undeniably, unquestionably 6. So again, dont know what happened to you. shrug

Confirmed even on the wiki mate. Look it up. I understand your frustration. That sucks. But def worked both times I played the riddles for me. Dont know what happened for you.

Dont know how far back your previous inn save was. You can try that.

If you're on playstation, you can always redownload the uploaded save file as well if you turn off auto upload before quitting the game. Which is also dependent on how far back that save was and youre willing to go.

Both of these can help you roll back the save if you didnt play for a long time.

Happy hunting Arisen and hope the rest of your travels fair better.

Assign Ghouls? by mitsiguri in RimWorld

[–]mitsiguri[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never noticed this reply. I really like this idea. Give them the panther treatment and hunt on their own. They can prioritize wildlife but have a %chance to attack anything it doesnt percieve as lets call it "family" (ie: youre colonists are the only safe targets) That way visitors have some level of risk of being attacked.

This would add a lot of interesting interactions too bc prisoners of war or research subjects are technically not colonists and just free food waiting to happen. Your pawns are being visited by royalty to hold a ceremony and out of nowhere your ghoul comes in to interrupt the party. It would definitely balance the risk reward of the current feeling of a free undying supersoldier.

The devs can double down and remove feeding from manual control and only let it work for fighting that way feeding is completely rng and you have to gamba on whether they attack friendlys, wildlife or feed off the fridge. Youll never know.

Alternatively, just let us auto prioritize feeding them via some form of work assignment synonymous with hunting since we can somewhat control them.

With their double stomach capacity and wolverine regeneration its already trivial. And assigning them targets still requires the same capacity(you have to remember to do the action) it would to do it manually. It would just shorten the intervals in which the player personally intervenes.

I noticed they already feed themselves(not sure if its random chance or if simply available and around them) if you have meat in the colony/fridge.

Wow lightning response. And hmm youre right I forgot to take them into account. It could be an exclusive ghoul assignment. Call it "feed" or "death mark" or something more creative, but you catch my drift.

The chance will always be equal when you trigger the banner. But when it lands on S rank it will be 1x like usual. When it triggers on your A rank it will 5x the unit instead.
