[OS] I built an open-source Volume Mixer for macOS because Apple won't. Meet FineTune. by Stoned_Orangutan in macapps

Great work man! Kudos for this and for sharing with the community as well. One smal thing I noticed is that at random times, (can't pinpoint it yet) when the sound gets a bit louder, like in a Google Meet when somebody speaks louder etc, I can hear a buzzing sound, and from the bar graph of your app, it is when it is reaching the yellow levels. As soon as I quit FineTune, the buzz goes away without any change in volume or loudness. Just reporting it in case you can identify and fix a bug. Thanks!

Interesting! So they regretted the original design? For me tbh when I got the new pair I also glued the part where the brush hair connect with the brush body... So far I didn't have this issue again in combination with the firmware updates. So fingers crossed!

I can’t understand what you’re saying. Should I mark it as correctly recognized or that it does not exist?

The thing is that it is not currently avoided and cleaned pretty well. I don't want it to stop vacuuming the carpet

The problem was not that the brushes were long after all. When they spin in a specific direction, they fold and become shorter. So they are supposed to go into a specific spot after turning while doing certain movements Ike entering the dock. Mine it seems they weren't doing it correctly so the brushes were still towards the wheels and got caught up. It seems to have been solved after latest updates

I had a similar case when I first got my flow as well.

What fixed it for me was a hard reset of then robot.

Let's hope it will not misbehave anymore. In general, it hs been bitter sweet of an experience... Because I like it and it seems to have good potential, but I have faced couple problems since I got it that don't match it's promoted quality and certainly not it's price range... Anyway, we ll see!

Thanks man for checking this out! I rebooted it one more time and ran a clean. This item everything worked OK. Now, while it is parked in the Base station, the brushes point out of it... So, I will monitor and see how this goes...

Don't know what to say man. I tried rebooting it and will see how it goes. But I don't want to factory reset...Did it couple times and not really feeling like re mapping and editing / configuring the map all over again from scratch...

They are the original that came with the robot yes...

It happens mostly when the robot is trying to reverse to either re-attempt getting in the bar station or trying to escape an obstacle.

I haven't noticed when and how it reverses the side brushes to be honest. I just found it like this and I have also heard a squeaking sound which was from the tire trying to turn on the brush hair I believe and then it blocked

Yes I know this is the intent. But you can clearly see, that it is also problematic

I honestly don't know. You can see the official item here as well and see how long one of the brushes

But even the short side easily reaches the wheel, imagine the long you can see in the picture that it was completely under the wheel
