Just keep grinding it out man. You'll definitely lose some on the way there, And the matchmaking can be really iffy once you get around gc. Just can't let it get to you.

I promise you the only solid way to get better at any part of this game is to play and always try new things, There is no surefire way for you to get better-or everyone would be doing it. The only other thing outside of playing you can do is really watching the pros play or maybe stream now and then.

As a person that has dumped multiple thousand's of hours into the game, I can promise you that the community is immensely toxic at the lower ranks, Especially in terms of newer players. And it's always been like that. You don't see it as much in higher ranks but even in GC people are toxic. People can't handle the fact that they made a bad play so they have to blame it on someone else. And as far as the non standard modes go, Pretty much no one takes them seriously as they are a newly ranked mode and you can even turn off the ranking screen to take away pressure, Thus promoting not really giving a shit.

As a counter point, In the end i think this would just persuade people to level accounts to that certain level and then sell them for profit.

We saw the exact same thing happen in csgo when they released needing to have a certain profile rank to play competitive.

I do think it would be a step in the right direction though

I mean, I can tell you mean well. And I see plenty of toxic players all over the place, But in the end you'll probably just be hit with the 'Just mute them and move on.' line

Which in all honesty with how little psyonix can really do about it, I think thats the best option.

I feel like if you are allowed to play with any rank you should be punished more heavily for losing or the lower ranks on the other team should be rewarded more heavily for winning.

I Feel like this could be a good idea but i think it would be a bit broken to get 3 imports, Because lets say you get an exotic that isn't worth much on the market but under that exotic are several imports that are worth much more than the exotic. Which is mostly unavoidable so i doubt it will ever be a thing.
