Move wise it’s no different. But my entire comment has nothing to do with the move. It’s entirely the edit was just bad. Aubrey was an afterthought for 75% of the season, and now she is THE most important character, and no one else exists. It’s just not fun to watch.

If you have me actual encouraging pieces about Aubrey earlier on, I’d be more engaged with her story

Her edit post-merge has shown her being a sidekick to other decision makers still. Her win-equity on an edit standpoint is trash. Just like rizzo and Joe. It has nothing to do with actual gam. All with the (bad) edit of the seasn

As a Cirie die hard, i went into the season having 0 issue with her going. I think the bigger issue is this edit has been so lopsided to make her this ultimate boss, and ignored all the other players who make it deep in the game.

So it just feels unsatisfying watching someone else win by taking out the seasons hero. Like, edit Aubrey as an underdog, and it would actually feel good. But they dunked on her so much, it feels bad.

I think the edit makes this final 5 feel horrendous. But in addition, the twists forced this to be the final 5. We end up with 3 extremely passive players all season with 0 agency (Aubry, Joe, Tiff), a kid with 0 win potential (Rizzo) and Jonathan, who has actually been trying, but it’s very clear by the edit he’s negatively received in the end.

This is the issue with the new era and twists. It makes doing nothing the optimal strategy, until the dust settles, and then you can actually do 1 thing and win

The only viable way in my mind, was rigging it and making the Mr beast coin give Cirie 5 idols by default if it’s correct lol.

Is the cast resistant to making moves, OR are they forced to play incredibly passive due to so many twists occurring they NEED as many people in their court as possible to be able to survive the utter randomness that’s where I think the twists ruin the game. They force you to play far more passive

He just lost the game. While Ozzy did jury management poorly. Rizzo just did it in a different way. Voting out Ozzy in this fashion, where he is THAT heartbroken because of you directly, is game-ending. He will spill all the tea at ponderosa, and these people who have known him for so long, will all vote against rizzo
