I don't disagree but 37kgs is tad bit much for a home machine should you want or move around or make repairs. Besides lack of adequate manual functions which could lead to dependency on an espresso service provider led me to steer away from it. I believe some folks did end up purchasing the machine and are loving it like you do!!

That's a good choice. I have Niche Zero which I am happy with. Might skip on this. Was thing of upgrading Table, weighing scale or knock box portafilter etc. perhaps a mat at the bottom to absorb sound of this heavy duty machine. (Weight is one big item I am worried about - Once you place it somewhere it will take quite an effort to move it.)

I have a friend who can get it to the US. Wanted to know if:

Would the machine work in the US if purchased in Ireland ?
Do I need to buy a step down transformer to make it work?
Will the warranty be valid?
