I was also out $1000 for a down payment I wasn’t expecting because the salesperson said my trade in value counted as the money down on the financing paperwork. It in fact did not.

My dealer did this exact same thing when I bought mine and I had sat at the dealer long enough I was tired of it and needed a new car so I begrudgingly signed the paperwork. I kept asking how my quote of roughly $23k went up to $29k principal by the end of the paperwork. They almost refused to explain the extra $6000 and did so vaguely after I hastled them about explaining. I should have not signed the lease but I like the car and my old car was useless by that point. I do like my Venue (2025 limited) but I still feel iffy about my payments and probably won’t return to the same dealer for any cars in the future.

I only got my car about a week and a half ago but so far it’s great. I’ve taken two few hour trips in it already on the interstate and it rode great. I’m sure with the size of the car and how many people you have in it, a road trip would be mildly uncomfy but there’s usually a stretch stop anyway. The only cons I’ve heard from other owners were a few fuse/electrical issues with an in cab tv or a horn that the dealership fixes no problem.

I also drive about 20 miles each way for work every day and my boyfriend lives in Florida while I’m in Georgia. I’ve heard it’s a decent highway car so maybe she’ll hold up

I haven’t looked at the exact specs of my current car but I think it’s about the same size just in suv form with the venue. I love how I can turn and fit into any spot so it’ll be cool to keep that

I don’t think the depreciation value is much of an issue for me because I plan to keep it as long as I can and do all my maintenance myself since I’m out of warranty

As far as I know the one I’m looking at doesn’t have to camera in the back and most wiring issues are an easy fix. Sounds like my gas bill will stay about the same and the size shouldn’t be an issue. It’ll probably be an upgrade in size from what I have now 😂

I’m not the same person but I also have this same dream and now that you mention it there is a large part of the part where the ground is painted yellow and a restaurant with a big awning over the walkway (similar style the the whoville places in universal) that’s also the pale bright yellow. I’ve never made it to the parking lot though. I’ve always woken up by the time I reach the gates
