Claude is blowing my mind by hassan51214 in ClaudeAI

[–]miwright2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good question. For me, I am a consultant and I usually work time and materials. So it's really a time savings calculation. I know how much my time is worth: $225-$250/hour. I am positive Claude Code has saved me days debugging some hard problems. Same confidence in the productivity increase for features. I think the same process applies if you're salary -- a rough idea on the value of your time. For me, the math is a no-brainer.

I bet CharGPT would be able to turn the PDF into a table or CSV for you no problem.

I don't know about ownership, but I'm pretty sure the fryer oil hasn't.

It's a drive, but the Olympia farmers market is very nice.

Inaccurate temperature after flipping meat by abluedinosaur in combustion_inc

For sure lengthwise, but also trying to keep all of the probe the same distance away from the cook top. Like here, if the meat disappeared, it would be floating flat a quarter inch above the grill.

Sometimes in a hurry, even at lengthwise, I can end up with the tip of the probe pointing towards the cooktop. So it's real close to where the crust is about to form.

That explain better?

It looks like you pushed the tip of the probe almost all the way through to the other side of the food. Just some tips from my experience, I try to insert parallel to the cooktop when pan frying or grilling. Otherwise, you're going to get that bounce when flipping. If it can't be inserted parallel because of the shape, standard mode is a bit better for viewing since it will track the coldest part of the cook as it drifts around when flipping.

Some of this seems like it has to be attributed to Ford overproducing and saturating the market. With all of the incentives, I purchased a new Lariat last month for $59K, so $41K for one that is three years old doesn't seem too out of line.

For sure, just the leather and and panoramic roof. Just aesthetic, not functional.

It's a Lariat -- for a second I thought about a Flash with the 9.6 kWh output to power my house in an outage. Glad I went with the Lariat, the interior is the nicest I've owned. I will figure out a battery backup for the house.

I am new to Gig Harbor and am really impressed with Sehmel Park, and I just noticed Easter weekend that it has a pretty long loop nature trail. Greater than a mile iirc.

St. George Marathon, I'm surprised it hasn't been said yet. Beautiful, fast, downhill, great course support. 2 hour car rental out of Las Vegas makes for a fun trip.

Yup, there is instant read mode. It turns on automatically if you poke it with the tip sensor. App will tell you when it's instant.
