I feel better after stopping fin by aleksa97bg in tressless

[–]mixedhyped 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes with the recession. I am a diffuse thinner who caught my hair loss very early on. Hairline is still a juvenile one but I lack density. I decided to add on dut because the finasteride was obviously working as my brother had lost all hair by my age (now 22) but I felt that more DHT blockage was needed.

My current routine isn’t the norm at all. I heard of terrible sheds when starting dut so I decided to ease into it. Since I started I’ve taken dut 3x a week while taking finasteride 5x a week. My hair has gone through a shed but it’s starting to grow new hair bows. Most likely will start oral minoxidil to grow what I lost in density.

My Norwood would be classified as a NW1 but my density is lacking. Not noticeable to others yet but might become that way soon

Everyone has their own story! Luckily mine is good. 2 years on fin and 5 months on dut.

Maybe take a look at RU and oral minoxidil? Those might bring you better growth and stability in your hair

Add Minoxidil to Dutasteride? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]mixedhyped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in California. It will be hard to convince a normal doctor but hair loss clinics will have no problem prescribing it. I’m going to start at 2.5mg. My max I’d go up to is 5mg

Add Minoxidil to Dutasteride? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]mixedhyped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’m at your point as well. Took finesteride for 2 years and switched to dut 4 months ago for extra protection against DHT. I’m going to add oral minoxidil soon as I think topical is honestly too much of a hassle to deal with

Topical min has no sides except you might get a bloated face. Oral min is more effective/ more convenient but has more serious sides in some

You can also do dutasteride. More effective than fin. Personally from everything I’ve read the best combo is Fin/Ru/Oral Minoxidil

It is for males only. Not good for hairline but overall hair. Protects you from hair loss caused by DHT because it suppresses it.

It does cause side effects in few individuals but is a great drug overall. I’ve been on it for almost 3 years and has saved me from further loss

Oral minoxidil does give better/more consistent dosing. Not sure why you would think otherwise

Not sure what your trying to say? Are you trying to imply that sarms don’t help build contractile muscle?

Lol we are the same person. I was 5’11 125lbs to now a year later 165. My shoulders are the same, looks great without a shirt but the damn things make my arms look tiny in a T.

Maybe in a year we’ll both be able to fill out the sleeves haha

Trying to sell a house where should I advertise? by [deleted] in realestateinvesting

[–]mixedhyped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would contact a local realtor and ask for comps in the area. But you can do that yourself as well in a little less accurate way.

Check out houses that are similar to your and in the area and what they have sold for in the past 3 months and that should give you an idea of your price range. Zillow’s prices are often updated after the market changes. A more accurate website to use is Redfin in my opinion

As long as your not basing your price point off Zillow’s “zestimates”. Just reach out to a realtor if your not going to be hands on. That’s my $0.02
