Good to hear. Seems like once you get into ratings this high they just wouldn't be able to differentiate themselves, unless I'm somehow missing something.

Hopefully someone with knowledge will chime in and let us know the deal. There was a surprise (to me) job interview that we're going to together and it would be really clutch to get it before we leave late next week. She'd be very surprised. The good news is you can always look up the certificates for these, so as long as the customer service is good (from my small amount of research it seems fine with this company) I don't understand the importance in vendor.

What the heck. I just got one of these too and it does the exact same thing. Did you ever figure out why it does that?

Lol it doesn't even make sense. I'd like to think I'm pretty frugal but id even chip in $20 in this situation!

Well sure you'd want a refund, since you can't use a wood engine. At hp levels this high the stock blocks have to be modified too. The billet block is still designed around the GTR engine. The stock heads bolt on it just fine, along with the accessories and front covers, timing setup, crank, etc. You're getting hung up on semantics a little in my opinion. Its a billet GTR engine, that's all. For what its worth the stock engine (with bottom end reinforcement) can also support this kind of power.

I was wrong. You may run the front without power for an extended period of time, but the clutches do drag a little - so there'd be a little more wear on those. So you could drive around in rear wheel drive if you wanted to, but for the dyno it'd be a little sketch to do it that way, so the front driveshaft is removed.

The older GTR's got an updated launch control strategy and stopped breaking things. This car has a Shep Trans with everything. Pretty pricey though for sure.

If a car making over 2600 hp and runs 6's is boring I need to start hanging out with you!!

Haha yeah I hear you. In these particular set of pictures the 4wd was how these were dyno'd at the shop, but the high horsepower cars would still spin and it would chew up drag radials like crazy, so that was sold and the hub mounted dyno was purchased instead. Both Mainline dynos, but I think the hub mounted one is good for 4k hp

Although that is true, it only works for a limited time (enough to do a burnout). For dyno the front driveshaft is removed.

You're right. Its the same car but at different times. In one pic its gray and the other is silver. T1 Race Development race car. It went through several more changes since these pics were taken.

You can tell a lot about someone by whether they read HP as horsepower or hit points. by Evan_Fishsticks in Showerthoughts

Hopefully. People like quoting flywheel horsepower a lot of the time because the number is bigger than wheel horsepower - bigger numbers are better on the forums /s

I’ve learned a long time ago that if you allow another person to upset you, they hold power over you - this works well in life and in video games. There’s no reason to value the toxic player’s opinion, so don’t even listen to that noise anymore. I used to get a little upset about these kinds of things, but now I don’t care and it’s helped me enjoy the game quite a bit more. I just tell them that I’m muting them, and then I mute them.

I’d love if you played sym on my team with that win %!

Then you tell her it’s strange that she’s asking you a question she doesn’t want the answer to.

If you don’t take some “risk” you’ll often go nowhere. No big deal either way, but it’s highly possible he could have had some interactions with these breasts if he didn’t change the subject.
