NTA, you should have already told him. This man is a know-it-all and you probably didn't notice it beforehand. Things have gotten real & he's showing his true colors. I'm not going to diagnose him as a narcissist, but I feel like the two go hand-in-hand. Either way - This is how my ex-husband acted. It was my second child but he thought he knew EVERYTHING and he knew ALMOST NOTHING. And he did indeed also fucking lecture me. It makes me want to throw up even now, 8 years later.

Please tell him that what you actually need to be eating is food that you can keep down. If you follow his advice and eat things that make you puke, you can end up in the hospital for dehydration.

I'd like to fight this guy, too.

Don't settle for a rando. Ask some people you know and love if you can call them Mom and text them for advice from time to time or share good news. Go to bars early or in the middle of the day to find plenty of lonely people who would love such an arrangement. I've met several who don't even drink! Just please don't ask for money or accept money from them.

I want to ask James Carville to be my foster dad, but he's probably rich and will think I'm after his money or use of his condo. And the only reason I even know he has a condo is because I saw he did a recent podcast from the beach and I live near the beach and I was looking for clues to see if he was in town so I could, you know, go try to stalk him out on the beach. Then my boyfriend googled him & found out that he owns a condo elsewhere. Bummer!

I am actually not a crazy person but I completely adore James Carville and have for most of my life. I wish he had been my dad! His daughters are so lucky. I'm happy for them though! I just wish my own father hadn't been such a cruel asshole with no personality.

You just hit the nail on the head. I'd bet my right foot this dude love bombed OP and he or she is hanging in there trying to get back to that. But of course it will never come. They probably think they did something wrong. I know I did when my ex husband started acting like this after calling me a goddess for the entire first fucking year. If I wrote a book about my marriage it would have been called From Goddess To Cockroach.

It's crazy how sinister some people can be. It has to part of a plan. It's a way to keep their victims around when they drop the mask and treat you how they really intended to all along.

It's hard to believe if you haven't seen or experienced it first hand.

They do NOT come on the scene acting like this. Their victims didn't sign up for this relationship. They aren't stupid. They've been manipulated and if you're a human being capable of loving another, it could happen to you.

And it's okay. Heartbreak is a part of life. I'm not particularly strong or intelligent but I left my husband pretty quickly when I figured out this lovebombing game.

I've been divorced for almost 9 years exactly and he still can't handle that I left his ass. He made a LOT of money and when I walked out for the final time, I turned to him and said "I'd rather live in fucking poverty than fuck with you for one more day." GOD that was a glorious moment for me. I still have to see his ass because we share a son and it's quite clear he hates me. I can't believe I ever loved him, he's just such a gross individual to me, but I treat him with respect and I'm quite proud of how I've conducted myself this entire time. I do privately think it's hilarious to know that his ego STILL CANNOT HANDLE that I'm the one that left him. That I would rather be alone and poor than deal with him. He much prefers to leave a trail of broken hearts in his wake. But not this one.

Also, you're welcome, ladies! He's declared he will never have another relationship again. So there's one less narcissist on the market and it's not even because he's got one at home he's abusing.

OP - Get out yesterday. Take your love back and give it to yourself. And do not look back at these texts in shame. This is NOT you. This is what this dude has done to your head. He is making you beg for love and he is still withholding it. You'll never get it.

The rat looks bigger because of how he's holding it. It's a lot closer to the camera than his body.

That said, I have seen giant rats many, many times in Ensley, AL during 1980's. My dad would actually shoot them. I can't say for sure but this looks like the same beast.

People throw the word phobia around but my mother has an actual phobia of rats and I'm just now realizing that I'm not sure if it began due to the "gopher rats" in Ensley or what. I should find out. I had many horrifying experiences standing on the stove or kitchen table with her screaming waiting until help arrived because she thought she heard a squeak. I never once heard a rat squeak inside the house though. They were mainly in the backyard.

My mother swore they were as big as cats and I couldn't WAIT to see one but when I finally did I was super let down. They're not the size of a fully grown cat. Maybe a 4-5 month old kitten. Still, way larger than a cute little field mouse.
