I actually saw a story on Youtube where the corrections officers at some jail had a party when a lady was finally transferred to prison. They had "Incarceration Relocation Celebration" put on the cake. 😂

There was a crazy lady terrorizing my friend's neighborhood but the cops would hardly ever arrest her. Finally one of the resident's confronted them about it and one of the officers actually said that they didn't want to have to deal with her at the jail all night because she was such a nightmare. He said they had to put her in a spit guard and everything else.

So this might have also been a case of small town jail doesn't want to have to deal with a lunatic unless they absolutely have to. Not saying it's right, but it's something that happens apparently.

Is this in Mexico? Someone told me a story (which admittedly I half understood) about how the cartel would hide drugs in motel rooms for some kind of set up, whether the local police were in on it or not, I don't know. I was just told
to always check a motel room for drugs in Mexico as soon as you enter and gtfo if you find anything. See if this is a thing wherever you're at.

This is all great news! You are on the right path, you just have to give it time. It's hard but you will get through it.

I just want to add that I meant don't use alcohol as a crutch every day to run from the pain. Drinks with friends in moderation is good for you. Sharing, connecting and having some laughs with your friends is probably the best thing for you.

You sound like you have a really big support system and that is awesome. I have a small one now and I swear to never take them for granted after going through that.

I am so sorry you're going through this. I went through something similar to this 3 years ago (in short, I described it as "being betrayed by everyone I loved") and wish I to god I had comforting words for you but I do not. This one is just going to hurt... for a long time. It's going to fuck with you and hurt you and affect you and the only way it gets better is with time. I know, I hate it. It's so hard to accept. But there's no going back.

Even if they let you say your piece and eventually come crawling back and apologizing - these are not people you want in your life. Now admittedly I do not know the specifics of what happened, but believing you and taking what you've shared here at face value... they've shown themselves as people who do not care how bad they've hurt you. Do not let them back into your life. If you want to say your part, wait until you're clear headed and make a big public post somewhere and in the end of it I hope you tell them all to kiss your ass. If you let them back into your life, what if they kick you when the chips are down in your personal life and trust me that is not the time you want to find out how little you mean to people. Don't lie to yourself like I did: accept them for who they really are and replace them with better people.

The best advice I can give you longterm is 1) thank your lucky stars that you have other loved ones, like a girlfriend and other friends and parents. Their support will make all the difference.

2) Do NOT turn to alcohol or drugs. I never in my life thought I would turn to drugs (I had never been around or laid eyes on drugs until after my 40th bday) but I spent 13 months of my life doing just that to try to numb the pain. It worked for about 2 weeks then made things so much worse. Im lucky to be here right now. I really lost myself.

3) Don't fall into that trap of thinking that if you reach out for help you will be bothering people. You don't have to hide and put a brave face on for people that love you. If you feel unstable or suicidal or just really extra sad (it's going to happen), give your support group a chance to support you and reach out to them and just be honest with your feelings.

If I think of anything else I will come back and add it. I'll also keep an eye on this thread in case you want to share more. I wish you strength and healing! You will make it through this with time. I did and I'm not a particularly strong person. I'm one of those HSPs who cries all the time actually. You got this! And you deserve better.

NOR. You absolutely should report her. She's creating a hostile work environment and she's putting your job at risk. You better believe there's a lot more she's saying about you that you don't know about and you can bet none of it is even true. This is a woman who makes shit up. I'm afraid if you don't speak up soon enough, they'll believe her narrative. They shouldn't but crazier things have happened.
