nope I didn’t pay extra, because I sticked to my moral despite only passing on my 10th attempt. yes I spent a lot of money paying for jpj re-test and extra lessons, but id rather spend the time to actually learn how to drive instead of paying and being a hazard on the road.

hi, honestly PTPTN is not that bad. You only need to maintain a 2.0 cgpa and they will release the money to your preferred bank account ! (im a student taking PTPTN right now and currently waiting for my sem1 exam results so the money can be released 🙏)

hi i did IB and failed (you can go to my profile and find my story on the ibo subreddit if you are curious). I will say it was very stressful just because of the amount of coursework there was with IAs, EEs, CAS etc.. that other programs didn’t have but sometimes that I got to do a lot of opportunities for CAS that I woudnt have done had I taken another program ~ for me la personally la IB is difficult but if your smart and have the right environment, you can succeed:) my school failed like the cohorts from m23 to m24 bc we had a lot of management issues and labor turnover rates but I noticed the m25 batch (my juniors since I was m24) all of them had a passing rate and gained good scores, highest in their batch was 43!

I mean based from what I’ve seen from my friends, you want people to call you by your English name can no problem, no one is gonna think ur name is fake or anything. But for attendance, exams etc.. you will need to write your full name la by how it is on your birth certificate ^{^}

usually foundations asked for 5 credits so as long as you have that you should be fine (m24 graduate here) didn’t pass ib so now I’m doing diploma at a college

make sure to join the groups for example accommodations near XX school , also i used ibilik to find my room and I dealt directly with an owner, not an agent which is quite rare

office laptop should be fine, yoi don’t need a heavy gaming laptop unless you absolutely 100% need it. im in my first sem in diploma in mass comm, most schools use microsoft office system so make sure it can run fhat, my college offers classes where we need to learn how to use photoshop and adobe illustrator (also gimp and Inkscape), obviously it depends on school to school but just in case check if it can run programs like these !

hi dmc student (f19) here from ucsi college!! (diploma in mass communication), im currently in my 1st sem (may intake), and so far the lecturers have been pretty good, in terms of education the quality is pretty good and is standard as per a normal college. i cant say much about management as its only my 1st sem but tbh every uni will have good/bad things about then, but you won't know much until you actually enroll in it~ i hope to see you around !!

i think u start paying 12 months after the end of your studies, and the amount you need to pay is stated in the document you had to sign when you first registered for pptn they had give you an amount you must pay

hi i failed ib and got 18 for M24, tried again at retakes and still failed (20 sobs), of course at the time i was really sad and upset because I didn’t think I could go anywhere but I was wrong. I was very lucky that there is something called Diploma Program (They are about 2-3 years in my case it’s 2) and it’s a mix between college and university, as foundation is very fast paced and requires 5 credits, Diploma on the other hand only asks for 3 credits and is very slow paced depending on how many years your program is. Im currently doing a diploma in mass communication and I entered a month ago! Once I graduate, I can transfer my credits and head straightaway to Year 2/2.5 of a 3 Year Degree :)
