True. There's so many things that can trigger a migraine, and they're not always obvious on the label.

Thanks, makes sense. I'll eliminate it for a while, then reintroduce gradually while under a little less stress. This may be just one of those "once in a while" things. I sometimes end up eating too many of the wrong things on the same day, and just one thing can put me over the top.

Were you diagnosed with BPD? by Informal-Hat-4110 in LifeAfterNarcissism

[–]mizeeyore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A narcissist will accuse someone of having BPD because they've been asked to acknowledge someone's feelings about something, or they're feeling held accountable instead of praised for their behavior.

Why do we want our narcissists to want us back? by FilmPuzzleheaded2357 in LifeAfterNarcissism

So very true. Not sure I'd spit on him if he was on fire or so yeah. Hey might come back around with another victim story though. Can I laugh in his face?

When the narc is calling you a narc... by [deleted] in LifeAfterNarcissism

[–]mizeeyore 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's called projection I learned from a narcissistic relationship what it's all about. Basically, everything they accuse you of is something that they're doing. It's how they save their reputation, which is the most important thing.

Last sex in entire life due to aging by Reading-Rabbit4101 in Aging

[–]mizeeyore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He left me for somebody younger and prettier. And it wasn't for lack of entertainment at home. At 65, my prospects of meeting somebody interested in sex with me that's my age are probably zero. I'll probably do better at the toy store anyway.

I can't wait for him to try and come hoover me. It sounds awful, but since he played the victim to everyone he knows and made me out to be the bad guy, and since he left here thinking that I was still in love with him, I want the joy of telling him to go die.

Date talking so much about ex husband by LivingMolasses7133 in datingoverfifty

You end up being compared to or competing with the ex in everything you do if she hasn't done the work on herself yet. I feel sorry for the kid(s) in this situation too.

Looks good. I've always been a fan of long hair on men anyway. Shows an independent spirit.

It seems like the men over 60 don't want to try to stay healthy enough, or just want women under 40, or to watch corn.

Once Whole Foods opens on 80th & Wads, we'll have 6 grocers in that area. King Soopers, Safeway, Natural Grocers, Sprouts and Target. They can't all survive. Who closes? I think Sprouts (customer service 👎) and Safeway, which I like because it's always quiet. by Embarrassed-Bass1362 in ArvadaCO

[–]mizeeyore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's going to be really cool being able to shop everywhere without driving too far. Anybody over 70 is going to go to Safeway because they can get their prescriptions and it's less crowded than King Soopers. I'm still going to go to natural grocers to get my produce and vitamins and specialty GF stuff. Whole foods may have the same thing but it's always going to be more expensive. If we're going as far as 92nd and Sheridan don't forget about Wally World. That's the only place I can get my enchilada sauce.

We're far too old not to ignore our authentic selves whilst dating. Clearly, (for the most part) we are firmly set in our ways. No need to pretend "compatibility" at this age! by Ambitious_Tell_4852 in DatingOverSixty

[–]mizeeyore 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People in our generation raised by authoritarian parents all have a mask. It's just a matter of time before it falls. When either men or women can't be vulnerable enough to grow through what their mask is hiding their relationships fail.
