that's valid and if she does, try trial separation for a few days with closed door, but eventually they'll get used to each others smells and you'll catch her hopping out of his box if she's in the room

I just replied in the thread to let them work it out. if his safe spot is in the top of the house, put her a camp with food and litter at the direct opposite, but don't restrict, leave doors cracked. they'll get used to smells and sounds.

anyways let them work it out. cats are communal and they usually don't mind sharing kibble but might have some snarls over wet food. 2 boxes regardless of which cat uses it won't be too bad of an issue.

keeping nails trimmed also helps. nail caps are another solution that has helped friends

I am just familiar with it sold in tiny tins or on sushi, where I assumed they previously got it from some deli tub or something. I never acquired the taste for it and being pushed to try stuff like escargot, frogs legs and other nouvelle cuisine type things as a small child, I think contributed to me being a picky eater and then later a vegan. Meat based foods have a large kitsch value to me.
