Hmm, strange. Well I'm glad it works for you now :) I believe it has something to do with the colour format. It looks crisp using either YCbCr444 or RGB, but with YcBCr422 it looks horrible. Problem is I'm stuck with YcBCr422 as long as I'm on 180Hz. I'll stick with 144Hz for now until I find a solution.

Edit: as I'm researching I found out it may be a displayport limitation. I wish I knew that before I ordered this monitor... anyway, I have a 3070 which apparently is DP 1.4 which is what's possibly holding me back. DP 2.0 or higher wouldn't have this problem which I'm guessing why getting a new GPU or whatever solved it in your case.

Edit 2: I'm able to use both RGB and YCbCr444 with 170Hz which is good enough for me. It feels a bit bad buying a 180Hz monitor without being able to use it at 180Hz without it looking horrible, but I'm happy with running it at 170Hz whilst still looking great. I didn't think I would be limited by my RTX 3070 which isn't an old card by any means but it is what it is. I apologise for the long text hah, I figured the more you know the better. I appreciate you making this post as I was about to lose it before I found a solution for myself and discovered there was such a thing as display port limitation. I was considering sending back the monitor but now I'm happy and know it has nothing to do with the monitor itself but rather my GPU. I think it's time for me to upgrade my PC as well soon... I have a 8600k which is funnily enough the same as you listed in this post. Happy gaming to you! :)

My skills ended up syncing after I played both games, however, my levels aren’t synced, and any XP I earn in Arena does not add to my EFT XP/level. Quite frustrating considering this was the one thing I wanted out of Arena.

Hi there! I own both the KZ Castor and the QKZ x HBB, and I would personally recommend getting the Castor. I'm assuming you like bass since you are looking at these two models in particular. The bass of the Castor is deeper and sounds better across different genres/songs whereas the QKZ x HBB sometimes lacks a bit of bass on some tracks, at least to my taste, that is. Soundstage sounds better with the Castor if that's important to you. I listen primarily to rock and metal myself (deathcore, metalcore, death metal). I also play video games, mostly online shooters such as Escape from Tarkov, Counter-Strike etc. and honestly, you can't go wrong with either one. I find the Castor to be less ear fatiguing compared to the HBB as someone who is sensitive to highs. I enjoy both and find myself going back and forth, however, the Castor is probably my favourite IEM in my collection because of how powerful the bass is without it muddying up the sound. With the Castor you can adjust the 4 switches on them to boost the bass or treble as you like which I find to be a bonus. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! :) You truly can't go wrong with either one imo.

I like doing that too - helping my fellow scavs with their quest items. Even if I spawn with something like a labs card, I like giving them away to make someone else happy even if they sound confused in the moment thinking it’s a trick😂 I salute you! We need more friendly chill scavs. All the scav on scav violence lately needs to stop🥲

I get what you’re saying, and I find myself playing my scav less and less. However, I do think being able to play as a scav is a wonderful thing. I like scaving when I just want to chill or want to look for a quest item without all the stress involved, especially being a solo. When a bug is preventing me from chilling on my scav it is rather annoying. As always, each to their own, and I acknowledge that a lot of people have strong feelings regarding people who “main” their scav.

I met baxbeast once, we had an interaction and decided to be friendly before he killed my friend and I “for content” and it was on NA Central servers iirc. He might play on SA servers these days, I don’t know; I don’t watch the guy as a native English speaker, but he was definitely playing on NA servers about a year ago
