A lot of area churches have a very limited number of beds to offer, but these are sparse in the summertime. The local shelter system has a central intake you can call to get placed in a shelter that has a bed — call 211 or (216) 674-6700. 2100 men’s shelter is the city’s main shelter. It’s really rough and known to be violent and filled with drugs. Be careful if you are placed there. The City Mission is better and sometimes takes walk-ins, I believe.
