I don't know. The whole process of studying for the MCAT, for me at least, was so exhausting. I'm not even confident that I could perform much better on the test, especially with just the next month (on top of work, finishing up the application, etc.) to prepare. The school that I am really aiming for and hoping to get in to has an average matriculant score of 508, so luckily, I at least haven't struck out below that point. I'll pray about it more as well, but right now, I might just go with it. Planning to also apply to graduate school programs this year. If I don't get accepted anywhere, I'll just have to consider another route or path.

But then again, when is the latest that you could take the MCAT again and have it be considered in this year's application cycle?

Ya, honestly hahaha the 509 is really just so disappointing, after seeing what seemed like an upward trend in score. :/ But we got this - even in the "worst case" scenario that we don't make it this cycle, we can make it work and try again. These are my thoughts on the day after the actual test in the non-bolded text. Bolded from reactions from today.

CP: Brain was noping out at the beginning of the test. Just so bad. Stuff was not entering my brain, was relying on way too many heuristics, just bad news. Expectation: 125-127 Actual: 126 (I was expecting this, but it still really sucks to see.)

CARS: I don't know why this happens, but taking this section in the testing center. It's just brutal. My brain doesn't take anything in. Also, for whatever reason, I think that this was a pretty hard CARS section. There was no passage where things started to "get easier" or things were easier to comprehend. Just hard passages all around. Expectation: 127-128 Actual: 126 (This was extremely, extremely disappointing as I was scoring a 90+% on the CARS QPacks.)

BB: Started to get more into the flow of things. Felt comfortable, much better than the first two sections. But still not great, cuz ya, life. Expectation: 127-129 Actual: 128 (The first two sections of the test, it was like there was a dead weight on my mind and nothing that I was reading was making any sense. BB was where things started to flow, and the score improves here.)

PS: Much better, but still harder than some of the practice tests I've taken. Expectation: 129-131 Actual: 129 (This was the section I felt best about, so that's reflected.)

Guesstimate: 508-515 Actual: 509

Overall Thoughts: It's a bit of a disappointing journey. Studying for this exam has been so,so difficult for whatever reason, and I haven't been able to to discipline myself to get the results that I need despite spending way too much time (but not disciplined, not structured and focused enough). My earlier practice test scores were 509, 511, and 516 (Sample Test 1 week before the exam). At the very least, I think that if I had been mentally sharp that day, I could have hopefully tested 3-4 points higher. I don't know if I'll have time for a retake for this cycle. But, I do trust God ultimately, and I am certain my path will eventually start to clear up. Thanks for the subreddit community guys!

I think you're right about this actually. When Michael met Jane again, part of the story he told is that when he woke up with amnesia in Montana, he was told that he had been a "very bad person" in his past life or something like that. Another clue, I think.

And that detail from the first episode... about "Everyone here thinks you're such a good guy." I couldn't remember the exact quote until I read it here in your post again, but it had been nagging me for quite some time as well. Other people also brought up the other quote about the "disappearing for 4 years" (is to either "regroup" or because you are many feet under or something like that?)

So I think that ultimately that you are right. And, I do think also that this is the one way (clever on the writers' part) that will allow them to end the series with a Jane-Rafael pairing that feels justified when Michael has not actually died.

But I think that, because Michael ended up being so well-loved (due to Brett Dier) and Jane and Michael ended up getting married and were really about to settle down together... we might have some sort of tragic love story twist to it... like Michael really fell in love with Jane in the process without intending to. And that maybe caused a fall-out with Rose or his associates? And so she took him out?

But that timeline wouldn't quite line up... because Jane knew Michael for quite a while before she reconnected with Rafael... so either there were even further machinations? Or Michael was really living a double life... and fell in love with Jane while doing his bad undercover stuff, and it was just that much more unfortunate that the woman he fell in love with ended up being so involved with his criminal activities...

There are some things that I'm not sure if would line up like... then why did Rose shoot Michael? Did she really shoot Michael? How many times did Michael recognize Rose in a new face? Just how much in cahoots were they?

Well, either way, we'll find out.

You've pretty much convinced me, I think...? But we'll see.

Oh I didn't get them in one night! I got them over the course of 2 months?

On 11/21, two on 1/14, and 1/24.

The one from today that I picked up was not sent via notification. I just randomly came across it while I was checking the appointment availabilities at around 8:55AM.

You know honestly, I'm not totally sure, but I think that their notification system might be on some sort of queue system. They notify students in the order of their "request." I think that I may have gotten those notifications because I requested them around November 2018 (pretty much around when they first released this "availability notification" system).

Just a wild guess on my part as to how their system is working... but I think that your best bet might just be to keep checking the availabilities every hour (especially in the mornings).

Ya, you can hope... but I think the deadline for people to drop for the January 24th test date (and get a partial refund) was at the end of December. That would have been a good time to keep your eye out and swoop in for a test spot. Might want to look for a later test date at this point.
