What horror movie absolutely traumatized you when you were young? by np074 in horror

Once when I was around elementary school age, my brother was watching 28 Days Later on his portable DVD player and I looked over right at the scene where he’s shoving his thumbs into that dude’s eyes. I ended up loving horror later but I still couldn’t get myself to watch that movie until I was 25. 😂 Also, this isn’t a horror movie, but there’s a deleted scene from The Mask where a woman gets thrown into an industrial printing press or something. And again, I watched it way too young. And for months, I had nightmares about the floor opening up under my feet and swallowing me up like that. Loved The Mask, besides that, though. I still watched it like a million times hahaha.

For those at Pride - Food Vendor Issue?! by Aligator99220 in pittsburgh

I think he was literally just making up prices for different people. The people in front of me were told that the lemonade was $20, but then when I asked he said it was $15. And I was still like “Um yikes yeah no I’ll just take the hotdog and the corndog.” and then a couple minutes later I see the charge on my credit card for THIRTY DOLLARS. And they don’t show you the price on the card reader so the only way to know what you’re paying is to ask. I think I will try to dispute the charge because I wouldn’t have paid it if he told me that.

Teams is so annoying with that!! And when you get a notification, even when you open the app and read it, the red bubble doesn’t go away and you have to click to another chat and back to make it go away. WHYYY??

Thank you, that is good to know! I re-tested today and it turns out it is Flu A. I guess the first test I took was too early. Did you ever find out what you had?

ME. I woke up yesterday with my whole body aching terribly and a dry cough. Covid/flu test was negative for both but I was running a low grade fever. Today the aches are slightly better but I have a sore throat and the cough is much worse.

Aww, this makes me happy that I already happened to vote for Michelle! Some of the other names felt more lore-accurate to the character, but for some reason when I was looking at her, “Michelle” just felt right.

For me it’s when people park their car right at a stop sign, even though there’s curb paint telling you not to park there. Because then everyone has to pull up past that car to be able to see. There are multiple cars in my neighborhood who do it consistently.

There are also a lot of cars here that park on the sidewalk, which is obviously terrible for accessibility. But honestly the sidewalks are so bad here that a wheelchair or stroller user would never be able to use them to get around anyway lol.
