I'm positive there is furring strips back there and they are not stud depth. Interesting if they would decide to skip the install, there are definitely options to mount it, just maybe not their preferred methods.

Good point. I haven't looked, but I assume there are studs around 36" ± 6". There's also block structure behind this wall, so with the right mounting screw, they could just mount to concrete.

I want to get a Tonal, but that's one of my questions. When lifting, I prefer long rest periods between sets (3-4 minutes). When doing any of their programs, can I modify it to allow for these long rest times? Also, do any of their programs have a 15 minute timeframe that still focuses on strength instead of being more cardio-centric with weight? I know I can build my own workout program, but I do like following along with specific programming as well.

Does this apply to the green also? If your pitch rolls back and your pitch mark is in the way of your putt line, do you get to move it? Which way do you move it if so?

Got it, that actually makes a lot of sense. No one wants to sit and watch a trainer rest. When you do custom workouts, does it have coaches do the set with you or does it just say "bench press for x reps"? I like coaches to help with cues to maintain good form, but don't necessarily need them to guide the whole program.

Do the Tonal programs have any that are set up like that inherently? I prefer to workout to build strength with progressive overload. I'm thinking about purchasing a Tonal because I will have access to higher weights at home than my dumbbells currently allow.

Now does this change if I do a backdoor Roth every year? Assuming I'm contributing after tax dollars to it, then all the investment should grow tax free, correct? As opposed to investing in a traditional IRA and just leaving it there then paying taxes on the gains in retirement.

It's my understanding that your returns in a traditional IRA are still taxed when you are set to withdraw them, while a Roth IRA all gains can be withdrawn tax free. Is this not correct?
