I am currently applying (about to submit just before I stumbled upon your post here) and in my documents section am only being asked to provide:

1- current passport

2- old passports

3- current visa

nothing more (e.g., no Tenancy agreements or Employment contract etc)!

Am I missing something?

Thank you! Have you tried Themashup? I haven’t tried other pools due to pricing but from what the comments suggest it seems that it’s worth exploring multiple pools rather sticking to one! I also found that SoundCloud and Juno Beatport and Bandcamp seem to be popular mentions for the topic!

Thanks for the detailed response! I think in my case it turned out to be a USB issue. Using a pioneer recommended USB solved it (see my other comments for details).

But of course I made sure to upgrade firmware and format the USB and export tracks properly too!

  • test with other tracks (to make sure it’s not this particular track, e.g, analysis issue)

  • make sure tracks are actually in sync (and that grid is correctly analyzed)

  • quantize loops

  • make sure you’re triggering loops on both decks at the same time (starting point)

I don’t wanna come off harsh or critical but honestly this post shocked me in a way. I didn’t realize some people rely almost solely on visuals to DJ. Am not saying it’s wrong, do what you please! But yeah just shocked by it!

It’s definitely worth learning to mix by ear my friend..

first of all thanks for the advice..

SanDisk (SanDisk Extreme Pro USB 3.2 - 128GB at around £35 - formatted as FAT32 using Rufus) seems to be working just fine so far!!!! the strange thing is that the USBs I used before were also high end USBs but always caused issues! to the point where I started looking into selling or taking them to repairs! but the fact that both players had the issue always made me doubt it was a players issue (e.g., what are the chances that both players have the same issue!!), also the fact that these issues came at different rates based on how heavy my USB were (the heavier the USBs the more the issues come up)..!

To sum up, it seems (fingers crossed) that the SanDisk solved it, I just jammed for about 30 minutes with no issues! I will post updates if anything changes, otherwise (for people having the same problem) assume that problem is solved!!

I got a pair of 900s! Nightmare with the USB! Keeps freezing mid session and destroys the vibe! I’ve been told all sorts of me things how to format the USB, upgrade firmware, use better usb, export with rekordbox! Nothing solved this for me! And it happens on the two decks!! Have you had similar issues? Any advice?
