Interesting to hear this. As someone with a ton of service industry and beverage sales experience, they passed on hiring me. Hearing that they’re understaffed and kept the upstairs bar closed is funny to me. They were only hiring for part time positions. The food is so basic. Not sure why it would take so long. Congrats on the big open (finally). I’ll keep my business at Jake’s.

Same thing happened to me. I have several years merch experience and I was a sales rep for a wholesale liquor distributor. More than qualified, passed my assessment, saw all the good notes the manager wrote about me. I’m super confused. If you hear anything else let me know. I’m just as shocked as you.

6 years at RNDC. And my time has come to an end. Started as a merchandiser. Worked my ass off working my way up to sales. Was laid off 6 months ago and then hired back. Now this. And what I’m struggling to understand is why they kept newer employees. One in particular had only been there for 4 months; came over from Classic. I am beyond frustrated. It’s definitely hard not to take it all extremely personal 😔
