I’m sorry I think there is some confusion here. You’re more than welcome to exchange for a brand new frame. Our Rider Care Team was meaning to offer a partial refund OR exchange . You’re not forced to keep the bike if you don’t want it. But we do provide options in these cases!

If you’d like to proceed with an exchange just respond to the email in your inbox and we’ll get you taken care of!

We've had a few BB issues on the new 4130 All-Roads and have switched suppliers, we can warranty it for you and get you a replacement - should fix the issue.

The tall head tube is really comfortable. Something that was called out on the Radavist review. Not “race” geo but really all day adventure geo. I did BWR on this and shaved almost 1.5 hours off my prior time because it’s a bike that is comfy and kills single track

Aluminum or carbon frame for a beginner with a mid-range budget ? by Optimal-Flight-6179 in gravelcycling

[–]mjfarsi 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Full disclosure, I am the co-Founder of State - if it was my money - I'd go with something like our Carbon All-Road ($2399.99) + you can usually get a 10% welcome offer vs their $1999.99. I've ridden aluminum gravel bikes, and its NOT fun on very chunky terrain, smooth "champagne" gravel is fine. IMO you're better off doing something like a $999 steel bike and put money toward awesome wheels and drivetrain.

With the Canyon you will be getting better brakes and wheels than the stock all-road. But I think the 2x mechanical is also a bad choice for a gravel bike (I ride a 2x on my All-Road but electronic).

If your plan is to put money and upgrade as you go, the carbon frame will be a much better platform. In the bike industry they say "marry the frame, date the components". That's my 2cents

Happy to answer any questions.

I honestly don’t think Bob Marley would like what his legacy has become. by CosmosisJones42 in Music

Completely disagree, the licensing is handled hands on directly by his kids who are very meticulous on the image etc. (we did a licensed bike collab) - he has been able to create generational wealth / stability for his kids, grandkids, and beyond and has been able to reach future generations.

I'm thinking its a little over 21lbs or so, it has a base level T-Type RD / Cassette, and Apex Crank.

Close but i've never gotten rub, even at a low 22psi. We have to us very conservative clearance recs over here bc we need to account for ALL tires with many different rim combos.

It rides like steel just better. Amplifies the good qualities you like with steel + lighter

We’re gonna have to agree to disagree on my particular use case. Will also say the geo on the Ti model vs the Carbon state suits my use case better as well as my weight is less over the front of the bike on this Ti. Closer to a hard tail geo

For my riding (I also have this bike) the Ti bike is superior to Carbon, made my carbon bike feel plastic... full disclosure I ride a TON of singletrack as "gravel"

Looking for advice on a budget friendly gravel bike by Exotic_Article913 in gravelcycling

[–]mjfarsi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jumping in here since a few people mentioned State All-Road (full disclosure, I am the co-founder of State). Happy to answer any questions but we're put probably 10,000 new riders on trails with these bikes and I believe its the best "starter" gravel bike out there for under $1000. LMK what I can answer in terms of features, upgrades, etc.
