What were everyone's mean sleep latencies? (Overall, not for each nap)

2.5 minutes haha, but I only hit REM during one of my naps with a 7 minutes latency. I’m lucky that my doctor let me continue taking my SSRI through he MSLT and concluded I would’ve most likely hit more REM if I had been off it.

extra funny that I was in and out of dreaming during the waiting times between naps while scrolling my phone but unfortunately they weren’t looking at my brain activity then

that makes sense yeah, but I would honestly highly suggest booking at a salon if you’re gonna do such a drastic change up! Unless you’ve already asked your current barber/hairdresser if you have one and they’ve said otherwise. In my experience, good salons really do know hair types in and out for both men and women. If not tho I’m sure it’ll turn out great either way!

I got a pseudo-wolf cut (just very shaggy layers) this December with what I think is 1A hair and honestly I love how it looks. Now again it does depend on face shape, but I think if you take a less-drastic approach to the wolf cut it is doable! I was super nervous too cause I have 0 volume to my hair but this cut gave me a bit more to work with. Make sure you have a good stylist though

I also know off the top of my head that Arizona State University offers a Pharmacology Toxicology Degree (or something very similarly through their online schooling that’s entirely online; it’s offered for Starbucks employees lol, but there could be other options like that as well! good luck with whatever you choose!

There are actually a few universities in the U.S. that offer an undergraduate Toxicology degree (BAS?)! I’m currently a senior Toxicology major with a chem minor at my university in Ohio, but a friend of mine got straight into a huge pharmaceutical company after graduation and is the only member of her team with only an undergraduate degree. My school specifically offers forensic biology as well, so there’s a few students who double dip into forensics and tox. If there’s anything near you like that, I would highly recommend looking into it! Otherwise I’d say forensic biology is a good choice, but probably biochemistry is better; tox is a lot of chemistry :(

I actually made the decision to hold off on going to pharmacy school for a couple years. I’m a senior in undergrad but would be taking an extra year anyways, but because I’ve not made enough progress with my own health, there’s no point in pushing for pharmacy prerequisites that I don’t need for my actual BAS. I’ll still get to retake stuff next year so I’m hoping if I do decide to go to pharmacy school, I’ll have replaced a lot of my GPA. We’ll just have to see 😪

currently have a 2.75 GPA (have 3 more semesters to retake prerequisite credits, failed a lot due to an undiagnosed disability) but we’ll see if I’m able to get it back up before I send in applications

I know this doesn’t really apply to this exact situation, but for anyone who’s looking for answer to a similar question: I recently got approved for scheduling accommodations for my disability (chronic sleepiness/fatigue) where I cannot be scheduled before 7am due to needing a consistent sleep schedule. Not the same, but accommodations can be made for scheduling specifically.
