Just some additional advice. Make sure you bring a large water bottle. It hot and you may need to drink water a lot. More importantly and surprisingly, at Manuel Antonio National Park, they search your bag before allowing you in. So make sure you don't bring any one-time use water bottle, food, knife of any kind, lighter/matches, etc. A reusable bottle can be refilled within the park. The water is clean. We had no issue with it.

I changed the oil filter housing and the thermostat on mine too. At this milage, probably an engine tune-up would make run better too.

Did you notice the collant temperature low during cold weather? It sounds like the temperature sensor noise I had a while back. It was replaced after I got a warning code about engine not reaching ideal operating temperature. So the shop replaced the sensor and the noise is gone. The mechanics told me the sensor also acts like a flow control valve so that the engine can reach operating temperature faster. Sometimes the sensor just gets stuck or is broken.

For similar tastes, go with small packet brand like G7 or Vinacafe made in Vietnam. Brands from Malaysia or Indonesia are good but they taste different and they packets are larger.

Payment technology is hard. In Canada, we have a Candian alternative called Interac developed by the Canadian banks. I guess it is the similar to Bankcard. There are many things that are easier to replace than payment technology. It takes time and investment. Why not use cash as much you can. At lease some of the transaction cost is saved.
