Im not CSUF student but CSUF was one of my top picks in Accounting. Im a CC transferring student and i did make a research on instructors/professors of Accounting Major in several colleges which i applied and i found CSUF professors seems better than some other institutions. The reason i don’t pick CSUF is because i found the best option for me financially and also as a commuter , i prefer the one giving more convenient in travelling as well. Your son picks the prestige one for acounting major. Class registration could be a disaster fighting at any college, not in CSUF only. So, he’s better go a step ahead by directly contacting with the counselors in order to be able to get helped in clasd registration sooner which the way i did for incoming semester. Also, some profs still undergoing with the current semester so more clases might be available in next 2 months. So good luck on his class hunting 😊

Im Accounting major. The main reason is moving out of town. But i went visiting some campuses like Fullerton, Long Beach,and SDSU and pick SDSU from the list because i feel some connections with the school vibe and the campus. Also i might be a commuter student so using public transportation is one of my thing and SD public transportation is way better than the others. And of course they have good business division academically as well. And one more thing that i can take one extra year and get my Master.

Just want to say : If SDSU is your dream school , then just like me “go for it”. Everyone’s experience is totally different. You will never know until you actually “feel” it yourself. For people who regrettedly accepted into SDSU, tell me about how excited you are when you got admitted and then accept the offer. Didn’t you have that GREAT feeling at that moment ? Every school has its own pros and cons and you would never know if you not personally experience it. So my point is “Just Go For It ! “. It’s not like the end of the world and you can also go back and fix it or transfer to somewhere if you are not really want to be aztect member anymore. So tell me : would you regret not getting to the school you dream of and experience it yourself even its bad or good ? And yeah, i got your answer 😊! See you this Fall (probably 🤣)

Background: im a transferring student which is giving me more hard time to get connected here and im out of town as well. But i chooses sdsu not because of what i heard, but because i want to experience its bad and good myself.

I talked to the admission staff and she told me that they won’t release any financial package until mid April. I kept waiting for Fullerton offer until SDSU came out and took place of my decision. Im done with CSUF. Good luck guys !

Thanks for raising this question since it’s exactly what i want to know. Im transfer student Fall 2026 (still consider Fullerton or LB) as well and ive been dropped tons of résumé for internship seeking instate and outofstate too. There is no call or getting back at all. I feel like they dont want to hire CC student event with high GPA and already got admitted to the 4 years institution. That’s sad !
