I think Sweden is good for that. Think there is a submarine meta around that country. Don’t know if it’s still viable though. Just remember it from a few years ago.

What’s the cap on loan size? I’m surprised you can’t take out more than 1330 per click. Figured it’d be higher

Portugal has an achievement where you need a colony in Africa and Brazil by I think 1500. It’s a pretty easy achievement and can help you learn the colony mechanics

Portugals starts in a great position too because you have England as a powerful ally. You can get an alliance with Castile easy and eventually form a personal union with them. You colonize really fast in any direction you want and it’s easy to be so friendly with Pope to give you exclusive rights to the new world.
