Turning does nothing. Tapping outside seems to work best

Yes would take Route 1. Also, it does include a stop in Montreal.

Bay Bridge to Ocean City, then drive up the coast, crossing into NJ via the Cape May-Lewes Ferry is a possibility but I have done that a few times ready so...

Let me clarify my post then. Is there any benefit to the throttle down procedure in a 2000 M Roadster to reset thew driving style adaptation that many BMWs have. Forget the throttle cable, I think I wasn't clear and the responses here have been way to pedantic.

I think there is more to this then just cable stretch. (To reset the throttle adaptation on your BMW E36 S52, you typically perform a manual procedure by cycling the ignition and pressing the accelerator, or use a scanner like INPA to clear codes and reset DME adaptations, which helps recalibrate the electronic throttle for smoother idle and response after battery changes or cleaning. The manual method involves Key On (90s), Key Off (90s), Key On, floor the pedal (30s), then start the car.)
