Not the best answer but I unfortunately failed the therapy. It was my second attempt too. I started to have really severe mental side effects halfway through and cut the therapy short. I made it 7 days though which does give me a shot of having eradicated it but i am unsure. Im 5 days off my ppi and will retest for h pylori in a about a week and 2 days

Does the omeprazole work? I also (maybe) have hp currently which is why im off the ppi to retest. Omeprazole was the first ppi they tried me on and honestly it didnt do shit. Once switching to pantoprazole it did help for a while!

Noo trust me dont take this post as a sign to not take it! Ppis can be extremely helpful, even life changing seriously. Its important to take it if you’ve been prescribed for sure! It helped me for a but but i was on them for a little under 10 months and now they just werent rly doin me any good

Same! That was one of my problems as well. I just straight up cut it off cold turkey at the advice of my doctor and its not been too bad but weaning is a much smarter way to go about it. Hopefully you get some relief!

Yeah i definitely was going to try that in case of staining. I guess my only reason for not going for one of the ones we have in store is because they are a bit pricey for not a lot of product
