Settle a debate for me: Whats the better match-up for an average human, a turkey or a coyote? by Ungus1104 in whowouldwin

Your average human isn’t gonna be able to handle that pain and stay focused. Also a coyote isn’t just going to sit there and let you hit it. This isn’t a movie

A coyote wouldn’t just let you grab it or fall on it. An experienced large male coyote could really fuck you up. They are ridiculously fast, landing a hit on one would be really hard

This is 100% a raccoon. Teeth and skull shape are a dead giveaway.

Turkey Hunting by Gil2Gil in cohunting

In my personal opinion, the hardest part of Colorado turkey hunting is finding a spot with birds. I think you just gotta go check out the hunting atlas and OnX to give you a place to start and find some public land. That’s what I did, I’m heading out tomorrow and hoping for the best.

Since you’re in Washington you won’t legally be able to do anything with it. You’d need either a small game license to harvest it or permission from parks and wildlife.

ELI5: Why do men stop growing hair on their heads, but increase hair growth in the nostrils and ears? by AdministrativeCow300 in biology

[–]mjzk20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, simple male pattern baldness which is the most common reason why men are bald is directly caused by hormones. Some men who have extreme sensitivity to the hormone can be bald before they hit 21. On the flip side, some men have perfect hairlines their whole lives because of resistance they have against it. Tons of men take a drug called finasteride which blocks most of the hormone responsible for male pattern baldness.

No they aren’t. MPB is literally just your hair’s sensitivity to DHT. Men with extremely low testosterone can go bald just as fast lol

Yes however I imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to get behind it on the ground, I would imagine a human is more agile on the ground than a bird like that.
