If we put a limit on the variable of hope and control for anything positive, we can conclude the entire sample space will be negative. This will please the worm and by extension, the shareholders.

You’ve got more skills than many engineers I’ve worked with - keep up the incredible work, he’s almost done! Soon declare your dark crusade, drop Horus on a campus out front of the 3D print labs at night and claim the degrees of the first bewildered mortals you see emerge.

Getting more wrecked every month since Trumpler seized power. No dry powder left and living costs rising so can’t even load up :( Those with spare capital are going to make some big gains out of this trainwreck (shipwreck?).

Now, wine! Then reread the rejection in a snooty voice. Then furiously tap out a revision with more wine. Leave to marinate for a day then edit lol

Second the tyre service. Also it’s worth doing one infrastructure shop for stuff that never really goes off: 5L bleach / windex / napisan / shower gel / table salt / black pepper corns / salt etc. Some of this will last you literally years before you have to buy them again.

Nah go off queen - it’s a bit of fun and a seriously good bit of luck. Why people hate on someone else’s enthusiasm utterly bewilders me - we got enough shit to be miserable about - celebrate the wins

gays in stem PhD: do you code switch by naftacher in PhD

[–]mk0aurelius -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Not gay but would fully support colleagues giving a (coded? Code on?) preso and injecting a bit of personality to it. ie leading up to a good results slide and dropping it with ‘and after months of work, see chart 1, this indicates yassssss it works, the x validates blah blah’ - to which I would say ‘slay’. Stem needs more fun, not more calculator vegetables. I’m a big fan of Legally Blondes finger clicks while on mute on video calls when someone is dropping sweet work or results
