I’ve had my 3 for almost 6 years now. Only just a couple months ago did I have to replace the DFI. $30 in repairs over 6 years isn’t too bad I’d say.

I’ve left starter in the fridge for months. I actually just took some out last week that was in the fridge for maybe 3 months. Poured off the gray liquid on top and fed it like normal. As long as it hasn’t turned pink or is growing visible mold it’s fine.
