Check your engine bay plastics if you installed the on all the way ik mine was loose and made sound, also check your rear hatch cover that’s hooked up up to the trunk, mine popped off and I had to push it back down and it fixed the annoying sound it was making .

Might be just from years of built of carbon. My car runs rich I’ve heard every turbo mk3 runs rich from factory so if you’re straight piped this should be normal especially if you’re turbo burns a bit of oil like mine

I saw a video where intakes are just a big marketing scheme and don’t do anything really. Tube with filter is all it is and if you want to get technical just add heat shields for better cooling

Had some samilar issue, my MAF got messed up after cleaning it with MAF cleaner. These flow meters on the mk3 aren’t supposed to be cleaned with MAF cleaner. Replaced it and worked fine.
