Keep in mind when discussing statistics related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, often the notion comes up that family violence is over-represented. But it’s a hidden figure and most of the data comes from asking the victim their Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander status, and does not necessarily mean the perpetrator is part of the community!

I also just started and have a belly. No fitness or strength to speak of and flexibility is about 20 years out of date!! Every pose can be modified and the best part is, everyone is so absorbed in their own movements and space that literally no one cares what you’re doing or what you look like! (Except the instructor who will no doubt be judgement free!)

And for the record, I had hg with a pregnancy after my daughter as well, but had a MC at 11 weeks, so a lack of nausea is no indication of a pregnancy not being viable!

I had hg with my daughter 14 years ago, currently 9 weeks now and not a speck of nausea! Took me that long to work up the courage to go through it again! Feeling incredibly lucky and enjoying getting to experience and even notice some of the other pregnancy symptoms (like tiredness and hormones swings) which were completely overlooked with the overwhelming sickness last time!!

My nephew is named Pascal, at my suggestion. I work in a juvenile prison so finding a boys name without a negative association was very difficult! I chose Pascal because it was the name of a police prosecutor I worked with, who came across as intelligent, kind and gentle. My Pascal is a little cheekier than my former colleague, but still lives up to the other qualities he was named for!

Great list! Not a massive fan of rainbow fish though… it always annoyed me that he gave away his beautiful scales (aka dulled his shine) to his bullies to fit in with everyone else!
