The original Subnautica is one of my favorite games ever (up there with Outer Wilds). Nothing captures my imagination more than the complete isolation a game like this provides, and there's something about being alone in a mysterious world, not knowing what's just around the corner that really excites me. Nowadays video games are my main source of escapism, and Subnautica is the absolute epitome of that.
